First public post in a while. Stuff's been going on, it's been very strange headspace while I figure lots of things out. I'll be okay, but this is a very delicate time.
So, in spirit of brevity, a bulleted post.
- My blue amber earrings finally came in. They're totally not me in that they are very large, but they are beautiful and I will enjoy having them. I would never recommend the ebay seller stoneworld, as it took them over two months to deliver said earrings. Bastards.
- Gavin DeGraw's music is lovely. However, I find myself wanting to listen to Counting Crows' Hard Candy cd and just emote. Or maybe just "Raining in Baltimore."
- The fishies are good. Scout tore his caudal fin a little and was very jumpy for a few days, but as the tear is healing, I'm sure he'll be okay.
- Choices was tonight, for all you WMC/McDaniel alums. They added new characters: we now have racist boy, depression girl, and anorexia girl (whose problems can apparently be solved by pizza). And also? Gay boy was Lesbian girl this year-- played by someone in Christian Fellowship. Yep. That's all I've got to say about that.
- I got a new paper plate award. No longer am I "Most Original," or "Most Unique." Instead, I bear an award from my loving RA staff proclaiming, "Christina: Best Booty." Uh huh.
- I've been getting comments, but I've had not a lot of time with training and orientation. So most of them went unanswered. I'm listening. I'm grateful. Book rush is this week, and then I will be out of town this weekend. I'll try to reply where I can, or make a blanket reply post if I have to. I apologize for being such a craptastic e-friend this month. I'll get a handle on all this eventually.
- Poster sale soon. I'll be putting up tarot cards on the wall, plus the painting I bought last year. I want a Secretary poster, plus I have to re-buy the Rothko print I had last year. My walls are too bare, too empty.
