Well, before the picspam... I made four Farscape icons. Since I don't *have* any Buffy screencaps on my computer anymore, I decided to look for Farscape ones. These aren't shareable yet because I will tinker and add on. To date, I've only seen up to 2x01, so I don't want to be spoiled.

: Aeryn's Detachable Penis. Because whoa. Just... whoa. She loves her big phallic gun.

: Sorry... you were saying?

: This was the moment I decided I could wade into this fandom. And the moment that I decided that I like Crichton way too much to be bothered anymore by the fact that he superficially resembles someone I hate.

: Yes. It's the screencap that everyone uses. Well, it's pretty. And technically, it's two caps that I smushed together because I'm anal like that. But... pretty. As far as I'm concerned, Farscape is subtitled in my head: "The Aeryn and John Sexual Tension Hour." They need to smootch more. Lots.

I abused icon brushes by inxsomniax during my current picture-in-picture obsession. If you haven't seen her stuff, go. Go now.

And picspam...

People that Christina thinks are insanely insanely ridiculously hot.Collapse )</center>

...sorry. It had to be done. It's all isabel0329's fault. She pointed me to an awesome Jake Gyllenhaal gallery where my membership is pending. My brain is bedazzled with the pretty.

Also, I really, really want to see Closer. Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Clive Owen, Julia Roberts, Maggie Gyllenhaal. In one movie. With lots and lots of sexual tension. Yes.

That is all-- I have my siblings tomorrow and the internet will be down for maintenance on Sunday. So you might not hear from me until Monday. So... I'll be in my bunk. :P

What is one item that is sacred to you? (Can be anything, tool, amulet, object, etc)

I consider my pentacle necklace sacred to me. It's infused with my energies, and is a symbol of what I stand for, spiritually. When I am done with them, my book of correspondences and my book of shadows will be sacred for me, for the same reasons. I have all of my information gathered, and I'm in the writing phase. It's such a huge project that I plan to be done by Beltane '05. Also, I define 'book of shadows' as a book of rites and spells, so I will have a third book seperately that will act as a magical journal.

What holidays or time of year do you consider most sacred to you personally?

Autumn, Autumn, Autumn. I love autumn, the atmosphere of change and mystery as nature has one more flare of beauty before it dies, if only for a little while. My spirituality seems much closer to the surface, and I always feel much more intuituve in the Autumn. I love Beltane and Samhain because they deal with two of the primary mysteries in human life: fertility and honoring death. These are times when my intuition is at its strongest, and it is the easiest for me to feel the magic in the everyday world.

Describe your sacred space (can be anywhere, indoors, outdoors, etc):

Because of college, I generally don't practice outside. Currently my sacred space is indoors, but can be anywhere. I generally make it in my bedroom in the small space of bare floor in front of my altar, but have made sacred space on a coffee table a few times when necessary.

Also, since there are about 20 WW that came before me joining, I will probably be posting a lot of them over the next month as I play catch-up.
