Things are finally starting to turn around. It's about time, I say. On the side of the good, my grandfather is paying for this semester's school books, so once I have the check safely in hand, I should be able to put all of my books aside. I'm actually excited about buying school supplies, how sad is that? I got a new cell phone last night-- it's the same number, for those who had it before. If you don't have it, and for some reason, you want it, let me know. I have enough money for groceries. It'll take some maneuvering, but my documents have been saved. I did lose one chapter of writing, but I've committed to re-writing it tonight. I'm also beta reading the first episode of Angel Virtual Season 6, so nyah nyah, suckers. :)

Also, I've been doodling with photoshop since I had to re-download many things and reorganze. This post brought to you by Aeryn being a complete baddass.

Worktime. Hmmm. I wonder if the pub takes checks... I haven't gotten my card yet. Still, the weight is starting to ease off my chest.

I did buy schoolbooks today. So that's out of the way. I have enough for phone payment and for groceries, and for Racheal's birthday present.

However, as I was walking to my apartment for my lunch break, bad news was quickly spreading. Our campus has a lot of construction going on in the summer, and today, one worker was killed as he worked on the site closest to the Ravens camp. He was cutting cinderblock with a power saw when the blade jumped and cut his throat. Not a pretty way to go. It's an absolutely horrid thing, but I'm at least grateful that he went quickly.

Also? I'm annoyed to hell with the media. I'm watching TV, and there's constant live coverage of the Ravens camp. I can see my apartment live on tv, and that's surreal, but hello. A man died today not 1000 feet away from the field you are standing on. A mention of that might be nice, because I could give three shits about Kyle Boller. Thanks.
