Itinerary of the day:

10:20a-11:20a:: Shakespeare
11:30a-12:30p:: Whitman & Dickinson
3:00p - 4:30p:: Rapelling, quick on rope-harness making
4:30p - ? :: Run Winter Moon with Bo Eckard and his jazz band. Also run my Magic Flute scenes with the girls playing the three spirits.
7:00p - ? :: Phi Sigma Iota (Foreign Language) honor society induction. It includes dinner, so all things considered, yay.

Full day, and all that jazz.
Plus, I've just realized that I totally need an icon that reads, 'I am SMRT!'

Rehearsal with the jazz band went quite well despite the fact that it was my first time ever performing with a microphone (which is a challenge considering the size of my voice, which Bo says I should only use for good, never evil).

We've confirmed that we're doing Hoagie Carmichael's Winter Moon, which goes:

Winter moon, up there alone in the sky,
All I can hear is the word 'goodbye'

Winter moon, do you recall a night in June?
Where is love's magic? Where did it go?
Has it gone like the summertime that we used to know?

Winter moon, up there alone in the sky,
Are you as lonely tonight as I?

We haven't decided on another tune. And boy, this one's slow. Try holding onto high G for about 10 seconds. Woo. But all in all, it sounds great. I'm excited.
