So. I'm from Baltimore, MD, and I'm currently going to college in Westminster, which is about 40 mins NW. This means that I can get to DC fairly easily.
I was wondering who's game for an MD/DC/VA/PA meetup sometime in February or March.
obsessedmuch, you're in PA, right? I know for a fact I want to meet you.
So. If you're game for a meetup, leave a note. You can bring your closer LJ friends, too. Then we'll decide on a distance-friendly meeting place. We'll have dinner or something.

Hello, hello.
I don't have a whole lot on my plate today, which of course means I'm going to fill it with lots of fannish insanity. I added a few fanlistings and cliques to my userinfo last night, and I'll probably end up adding a few more today. Also, I have about 20 Dune icons done and about 15 to go. Hopefully, they'll be posted by tomorrow morning. While I've got Photoshop open, I'm going to make a few buttons for my icon site for people who want to link to it, then add a few more pages & re-tool the buttons to accomodate them.
In the meanwhile, I got a call from Student Services. I've been asked to put a book about Ancient Roman Civilization on tape for some disabled students. Which means I'll be reading a 271 page textbook out loud by next week. Yippee. Well, I wrote about insomnia last night, and voila, this morning delivered the answer. I have to go and do paperwork in a few minutes, and then from 3-5 am, I'll be reading to a tape-recorder. I don't know if this is a paying gig or not, but it'd be cool if it was.
But I made myself allspice pancakes this morning while we finished Down With Love (I thought it was lukewarm, but I loved Ewan). Yumm. And the redheads and I are seeing ROTK tonight. It'll be my second time. And then I have to find time to see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And maybe make some more Empire Records icons because I get so many requests. And_vorobey_? Can I borrow Whale Rider? I lovelovelove that movie.
Okay then. As I go, I leave you with proof that Heather and I mind-meld at 5 am. Ta.
