*sputter*
I shouldn't make myself nauseous with how angry I am that Bush is our president. But really, is it too much to ask that our president recognizes our fundamental *separation of church and state*??
So. If marriage is a religious institution, does that mean all atheists and non-religious types should be denied a marriage license? Does that mean my mother's marriage isn't valid? Does that mean that because gay people cannot reproduce on their own, that all straight couples with no plans for children should have their marriage license revoked?

Anyway. My Hsing Martial Arts class is going fairly well. Like Tai Chi, it's chi-based, but much less fluid. It rather reminds me of my gung fu days, but with less emphasis on offense. It's funny though. Some of the forms are similar, and I find myself slipping into them. So I end in cat stance all the time instead of flat-foot horse.
Kinda nervous about my voice lesson tomorrow. I flat-out sucked at my rep class on Saturday. The pianist was playing twice as slow, plus, it's an alto-range song, and I'm a soprano. I'm not used to the range, and my voice cracked. What kind of amateur shit is that?? My voice hasn't cracked since I was a freshman in high school!
Oi. So. Now I have a headache and three hours of class ahead of me. Joy.
And before I forget, Happy Birthday,
outoftime!
