A question for icon-y people.

I've been having issues with my animations.

I go over the 40k limit really quickly.

I use JASC animation shop 3, and it seems that even when I save my images at a lower res/filesize (4kb at the most), all it takes is like 4 frames and I'm over the limit!

Are there any tips and tricks besides resizing the image that I don't know about?
