So. I finally bought a pentacle.

For a really long time, I'd been really hesitant because I didn't stupid people to associate me with goths or satanists. So instead, I wore runes, perthro and nauthiz in particular, as they applied to specific life phases of mine, and more recently, a small Hathor pendant that Anna gave me.

I'd been browsing pagan stores for a pentacle lately because more and more, I've been feeling that that's what's right for me right now. But everything I found was either very flowery or very expensive.

Mike and I were in Columbia mall on Saturday, and I stopped at a little kiosk while he was in another store. There was a small sterling silver pentacle in the case closest to the floor. It was nothing fancy, just shiny silver and straight lines. I knew that it was the one. Not forever, maybe, but until I find something more intricate when I'm supposed to wear something more intricate. Maybe one with the moon cycle on it. But here it is:
