Bought a swimsuit today. Belive it or not, it was less traumatic than buying shorts (I hate my thighs). I got a two-piece black halter suit with brown buckles. At Target, you can buy separates, which was nice, as I am a medium on the bottom and an extra large on top. I also got some girlie underthings (oh, the horrors!), and the cutest thong in the world (SuperGirl!!).

That plus I now am so excited about decorating my school apartment. Heather... ideas. How about a long, skinny mirror behind the couch, I have all sorts of candle centerpieces in mind, and I think the other buyy we need is a tall, skinny bookcase to put tapes and dvds in. Or something. And Pier One sells the coolest glassware ever. I'm thinking that I might buy a dozen different mixed drinks glasses for festive smoothies.

(Keep me away from Pier One.)

In other news, the orange and pink Asiatic lilies on my porch have bloomed, and I sent letters to madrigalblue, lm, and zyre on Wednesday. Anybody else who wants a letter should email me.

And the stepfather has returned. Time to duck and cover. It seems that not even a gift certficate to Dick's and a cae for Father's Day has helped things. Meh.
