So. Went home for the weekend. Had a 'lil party. Heather and Anna bean and Liz and Bridget were all there. I got lotsa candles and a train whistle. ;) Heather spent the night, and we tried to sleep while my half-persian kitten, Zoe, attacked our necks. I got to see the other two kitties we adopted in the last two weeks. They are soooo tiny! One is all black with grey-green eyes, and her name is Shadow. The other is an all-gray male with green eyes and big ears, and his name is Harley. They're so scrawny, though. My mom found them curled up around each other in one of our flowerpots... they're so adorable- definitely from the same litter.

Went to see my aunt Linda and uncle JP. My cousin who lives in California was also in, and I got to meet his 3 year old son, Luca. So cute. My father, on the other hand, is an ass.

He is the epitome of road rage. So when he intentionally cut off a tiny car with his humongous pickup truck (does he not realize that vehicles are essentially large weapons?), I quietly asked him to calm down. He instead yelled at me for being disrespectful- he is my father and I am still his child, and I don't tell him what to do and all that stupid shit.

You're my father. The fact that you were born 20 years before me doesn't make you smarter, it just makes you old.

I should've just told him to let me out, I'd hail a cab home. Instead, I explained that he was angry at the traffic, not at me, and he'd see that once we got to our destination. He insisted I was being disrespectful.

"Fine." I said, "Absolutely. I'm being disrespectful." Fucking idiot.

Explain to me why any dissenting opinion equals disrespect? Oh, forgot for a minute. He thinks he's god's voice and that he is incapable of doing wrong and that it's a travesty because his wife is divorcing him because he makes no attempt to get a job (and goes hunting with his disability checks) and she works three.

Boo fucking hoo.

So, I called Mike, and he drove me home from Pennsylvania. I got back to my room and cried on his shoulder because I am so fucking stressed out, and dealing with the fact that my father is a fuckhead pushed me over my personal bullshit threshold.

Meh.

But I bought Braveheart and The Fifth Element on DVD. I will have an emotional catharsis sooner or later.

I took a buncha quizzes to make myself feel better.

You are Lapis Lazuli!
(the picture went all funky, but it basically said I'm big into communicating and expressing, and that I'm brutally honest even when I shouldn't be. True enough.)
What Stone Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Ooooh, Lapis. I want a piece of lapis jewelerry sooooo badly. Beautiful blue with pretty gold threads...

So... there is no Braveheart fnalisting or Sleepy Hollow Fanlisting.

I'm going to put up a Sappho Fanlisting/ mini site in January. LM, get on my ass about it.

Maybe when I get a domain, I'll do the other two...
