Okay... this LJ will generally be used for comment threads on my real blog, Pretty Little Train Wreck. That is... when I get that all figured out.

But my other goal is accomplished... icons!

Which do you like?

So much I want to do....

So much I need to learn how to do.

To do list:

-figure out stylesheets so I can have a nice, multilayered layout. I'm new to html in general... I have a lot to learn.

-figure out how to make a few ps brush sets to offer on my site.

-figure out how to make a link from an LJ thread to my blog.

-decide on the next layout of Dulcissime.

I was thinking that it was going to be this whole female form thing... playful and all. But I've been feeling the pull to do a Goddess-centric layout. As I was perusing for Goddess images, I came across Drawing Down The Moon, a girl pagan clique. Which reminded me to find a copy of Elizabeth Hand's "Waking The Moon," because my copy has gone AWOL.

And how do these icon things work? How can I use a different icon with each post? *whinge*

But on the plus side, I can see straight again. This is good.

So I've had this massive urge for a few years now to write a young adult dark-fairytale novella. Kinda like LJ Smith, minus the schmoop factor. I wrote a short story based on the tale of Tam Lin, and it is time to make it into much more. Problem is, I'm no time girl, and overhauling it will mean *months* of working and then finding a beta reader who doesn't mind if it's not fanfic.
So I'm setting a deadline. October. October 31st, the damn thing will be mostly done.
Because it might be the blaring Loreena McKennit, and it might be tomorrow's full moon, and it might be the pull of Beltane, but the story is yelling at me, saying "Dammit, pay attention!"
So, ummhmmm. I'll be fairly fairy-centric in the next few months.
