I took the computer to Best Buy. It was dusty, they cleaned it, but said that otherwise, it looks fine. The dust might have caused overheating. I got it back, it's still rebooting.

So. I'm taking it back to Best Buy next weekend or sooner if I can beg a ride. I'm having it sent back to Compaq. I'm also mailing Compaq for a system restore disk. When I get my computer back in 2-3 weeks, I will restore everything back to the original settings. I'm so tired of this shit. I've resolved to by a Mac laptop after college.

So. I want to make a new layout. I even have a great pic to use-- a Suza Scalora photopiece that I scanned from one of her books. I want to make icons. I want to write at night. I want to make wallpaper for fandom_art. I'm far too dependent on this computer.

Bridget said that there was an article on WinXP rebooting, and she's scanning it for me. I hope it contains stuff other than the Blaster thing-- my comp doesn't have it.

On the plus side, she gave me a full body-massage today and we got caught up over lunch. It definitely gave me food for thought. And ow, I wrenched my neck this morning. I should take Aleeve.

Grrr, arrgh.


And bellybalt? I took it to Security b/c your friend wasn't in at the Towson store. But I checked first!
