egosomnio, for pointing me in the direction of a few updated XP codecs. It's a little jumpy, but it's something I'll live with. And thanks to enfaith and marzak, I can now make even better caps with PowerDVD, even if I still can't figure out why the hell I can't get sound with that program. Thanks, guys!
Now, after headaches, I am going to bed. I have my 8:20 tomorrow, and I have to get up even earlier to photocopy an article and make notes on it. Then comes the ritual nap-- followed by the ritual doing of the theory homework and then class... but then I can watch the commentary on Billy, which I find infinitely fascinating.
