When I woke up, there was almost four inches of pure white, fluffy snow on the ground. It was like fine glitter, sparkling and iridescent in the morning sunlight.

I got up to take care of some RA business and helped with key exchange and check-in, then I read another dreadful chapter of that textbook on tape, every now and then, slipping in some colorful non-sequitur to keep myself from zoning out and sounding like a robot. Mike's coming now, and we're going to get a bottle of Blackstone for the evening, and some sharp cheddar. We're going to hang out for the rest of the evening.

Tomorrow, we're supposed to get 8 more inches of snow. Hopefully, the roads will be okay enough that evergleam83 and I will be able to meet bellybalt for dinner as planned. And then, I must get two more chapters on tape.

If school is open, classes start Monday, and it's back to the grind. I might get back to making a few more Buffy icons-- I have my first songset in mind. I want to do Garbage's You Look so Fine. It's been in my head all day and it refuses to go away.

Uhhhmmm. I really could use a nap, or the moment the wine hits, I'll be sleeping like a baby.
