Drum Circle dates... just passing this along.
Friday, September 26:
We need drummers to make a whole lot of good
noise at the Westminster FallFest! The committee that puts the festival together has actually requested the drum circle, so we want to make a good impression. We'll be meeting at the Locust Lane stage across from the Westminster Library at 50 East Main Street and playing there from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Then we'll be moving to the Pour House Cafe at 233 East Main Street in Westminster to play from 10:30 pm to midnight. Please bring any percussion instruments you may have and any friends who
you might be able to persuade to play. This event is free and open to the public. On Friday night the local merchants stay open until midnight, so there are loads of folks out enjoying the scene. For more information about FallFest, click this.
Year Round Drum Dates for the Westminster Drum Circle (aka: Common Ground on the Hill Drum Circle)
First Fridays: October 3, November 7, December 5, January 2, February 6, March 5, April 2 and May 7: Thomas will host drum circles at the Pour House Cafe on Fridays from 10:00 pm to midnight. These events are free and open to the public. Bring a drum or just yourself! All ages and experience levels. The address is 233 East Main Street in Westminster.
From Towson, take 695 to 795 to 140. Once you get into the town of Westminster, turn left onto Rt. 97 (PopEyes is on the corner) and then turn right onto Main Street (second light.) The Pour House is down a few blocks on your right.
Little Baker Chapel at McDaniel College
Second Saturdays: October 11, November 8, December 13, January 10, February 14, March 13, April 10, May 8: We will host drum circles at Little Baker Chapel on the campus of McDaniel College in Westminster from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. These events are free and open to the public. Bring a drum or just yourself! Food to share is always welcome but never expected! All ages and experience levels.

So Fall Fest just might not suck. And yay, there's a drum circle right on campus. I'm excited.
