Four books.
1. Dune, by Frank Herbert. I have had this username for fourteen years, and it came from this book.
2. Embracing the Moon, by Yasmine Galenorn. The first Pagan book I ever read. I bought a copy and still have it. Now that I'm older and have been practicing for awhile, her formal ritual style strikes me as overly ornate and too lengthy, but her ideas for practical workings are still pretty great.
3. The Book of the Courtesans: A Catalogue of Their Virtues, by Susan Griffin. The last book I attempted, then put down. I hated the author's conjecture and purple prose so much that I broke a several year streak of forgetting to write book reviews on Amazon just to spew bile about how much I hated it.
