So, I made a batch of faery wings this week. They're curing on my rack right now.
This batch is special. It's hands-down, the prettiest batch I've made yet. I even tried a few new shapes, just to see how they do.
But what really makes them special? They are completely transparent, completely iridescent, and blinged to the max.
There's one that has a strong copper to forest green iridescent shift. One that shifts pink to green. One green to gold. One deep purple to blue. And on and on and on.
I just keep staring at them. SO SHINY. So magical. Jason's convinced I should just start working on them constantly and saving them to sell at Spoutwood next year.
Hopefully, I'll get them up on the site on Monday. It really depends on whether or not the light is good, as they deserve to be photographed in sunlight so you can really see how gorgeous the colors are.
