Stuff-n-things.

1. I got to see tamnonlinear last night! We chatted and had good food and watched Star Trek while I worked. She also brought Olive over a set of pet stairs to help her access our bed, to replace the random mix of boxes we'd constructed for her. They are sooooo cute. She's also figured out how to use them, so bonus.

2. Speaking of Olive: she's doing well. No crash after coming off of chemo. I want to start weaning her to a lower dose of prednisone soon and see how she does; she's been on steroids for almost four months now and she probably needs more white blood cells. But other than that, knock on wood, we've seen no warning signs with her-- no yellowed eyes, no pale gums, no appetite problems-- so we're not doing any more blood testing 'til absolutely necessary. Just her now-customary wobbliness. She's actually been far more active lately-- Jason is in the bedroom a whole lot more now since we installed his mini-office, and she's lovin' it. Demanding to play. Learning to play fetch. Being an overall happy cat. I'm almost worried that by talking about it, I'll jinx it, so I'll leave it at that. Continued prayers/energy for her would be much appreciated, though.

3. Good practice today. Flissy and I are doing a charity gig in DC on the 21st that we just found out about. We picked out music more quickly than we ever have done before and did a good mock-up. Looking forward to it. More details when I have them.

4. Doing some resin-and-words pendants for Valentine's day. They are turning out so cute!
