'Twas The Night Before Christmas
By the time I am finished writing this post, it will be Christmas Day. Or at least after midnight, at any rate. I'm just back from my in-laws' place, who gifted us with a care package full of yummy goodness... cheese balls and hand-canned pickles, chips, salsa, and diabetic fudge. Plus a newly-framed picture of Jason's late mother, because our cats (read: most likely Mim) shattered the one we'd had previously.
We have a little bit of picking up to do... breaking down boxes and getting them out of the living room, mostly, and then we are settling in for a movie which we will most likely fall asleep to on our big green couch of comfy awesomeness.
But! I have a few pictures to share with you before that happens... namely of the mountain of holiday cards we've received over the last few weeks. I am so thankful-- thanks to everyone who sent a card! (And apologies, as the Japanese-inspired lanterns in our living room make EVERYTHING very yellow.

(And the stockings were hung by the naked lady with care
In hopes that Saint Prickolaus soon would be there.)
Happy Holidays to you and yours.
