Foot update.
So, those on my flist saw that I got a pretty grisly gash on the bottom of my foot tonight. I was hoping I'd be able to disinfect and tape it, but when J got home he told me that we needed to get it stitched immediately. He was right. Though it was a clean cut with no ragged edges (I assume the source was a rogue piece of glass from a pyrex cup that broke in the kitchen two weeks ago!), it was pretty amazingly deep.
So, at the age of 27, baby got her first stitches.
I'm on antibiotics for ten days, with orders to stay off of it. I can't really do that, as I have to perform tomorrow night (THE SHOW MUST GO ON!) but I am going to take it as lightly as I can for the next week, so that there are no complications.
Now, to begin cleaning the carpet and the myriad places I dripped. Fantaaaaaaaastic.
