More gratitude

I missed a day, so here's two:

3. I am grateful for Ariel. No matter if it's been three days or three weeks since we last talked, we always seem to effortlessly pick up from where we left off.

4. I am grateful for my big snuggly bathrobe, even if it does sort of make me look like a mint green yeti. It's warm and soft and perfect in the morning.

Though-- something I am not grateful for. I am still not getting LJ notifications of any kind. This is the response I got from LJ support:

Thank you for your report. LiveJournal developers are aware of an issue where the notifications system is not working correctly for some users. Due to the complex nature of this issue, it is taking a long time to resolve.

If you have completed all of the steps in the troubleshooting FAQ located at [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=115], there is nothing further that Support can suggest to resolve the situation. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue is causing and appreciate your patience until it is resolved.

So, in other words, I won't be renewing my account until this gets fixed. My account expires tomorrow-ish. I swear, I have never had this much of a problem with a paid service before, save Comcast, and damn is that NOT company you want to be in, LJ.

Though, back to happy. We booked an anniversary trip! We'll be spending two nights at The Farnsworth House in Gettysburg. It's a civil war-era house riddled with bullet holes, and purportedly the most haunted inn in all of America. I would have liked to book the weekend of the 17th, which is our actual anniversary*, but that place fills up FAST in October and we were lucky to get a room at all. We'll be staying in the Belle Boyd room. I can't wait to eat at the tavern and go on the ghost walks again-- last year's Mature Tour was super creepy. Plus that weekend is the National Apple Harvest Festival, so I'm sure there will be lots of yumminess.

Today: I am supply ordering for the Halloween update! Also, I got my second wholesale order today, from one of the local jewelers around here. His mother has a jewelry and gifts shop, and that's where my jewelry will be sold!

*Actual in that Oct 17th is the day we celebrate. We got civilly married in August sometime, but our wedding was in October.
