I haz the braindead.

Really. Honestly. I was up until 3am finishing up work stuff, fell asleep on the couch for a few hours, woke up at 6:30 to feed the cats, and then stayed in some sort of twilight-haze, except for the 45 minutes I fell asleep again and had a zombie nightmare wherein all of the zombies were dressed like it was the early 90's and I think one might have been Vanilla Ice. No, really. This, by the way? My second zombie dream of the week, but at least the other one involved me having a hot threesome with two extremely smokin' chicks. I've also had a very detailed dream about how lizard-like aliens came and tried to take over, but they could only infect children, and so all the children in our neighborhood were creepy and doll-like and homicidal. I think that one was probably the result of watching that Stephen Hawking show on aliens right before bed, mixed with a promo for V or something.

So. Not really sleeping like I should. And having colorful dreams to boot. I am waking up already feeling stressed out and I've had two anxiety attacks this week.

Y'all I just put sugar and water into my coffee instead of milk. I am fried.

Some really shallow bullet points:

I spent some money on myself this week because otherwise my impulse spending has been way down of late. I bought:

-- More Magic Hands Workshop 'Wildwood Rose' soap because I really, really love it. It's actually barely, barely rosey. I mostly smell sandalwood and incense and musk. It's really, really not overtly feminine, but it is luxurious-smelling. I also picked up a 'Cedar & Saffron' soap for the mister.

-- Lathers & Lights hair stuff. I need a deep conditioner, so I got some of the 4oz hair products to try in some of the non-foody scents: Egyptian Dragon, Goddess, Mystic Woods, Plumeria. I'll review them when they get here.

-- Jeans. So, not really a luxury, because I have exactly one pair of jeans left sans holes. So. Jeans.

-- Possets' Vernal Spring perfume, which is so lovely. Lightly lemony, but mostly just fresh and open-air and slightly sweet but not in a foody way.

-- A Yankee candle in 'Early Daybreak,' which pretty much smells exactly like Vernal Spring, and both J & I looooove it. It's perfect when paired with a stargazer lily tart and an open back door.

I have also completely splurged on supplies for upcoming work stuffs. Irresistable aqua terra jasper. Many iridescent and silk ribbons. Alcohol-based inks. Lots and lots of design paper. Glass slides. Different kinds of bezels. And also bunches of stuff for candles: sandalwood, copal, amber, oranges. And some of that amber will be made into the yummiest massage oil ever.

Anyhow, this fluffy post is a palate cleanser from the last public post. There's a couple of final notes I want to make and comments I have to respond to, but not tonight. Tonight, I am out of brain, and will be enjoying the delicious coq au vin venison soup we made in our slow-cooker. Later.
