LJ support ticket
For about 2 weeks now, my journal has been inaccessible about half the time I try to load it or my friends page. This is the error message I get:
Error running style: Style code didn't finish running in a timely fashion. Possible causes:
* Infinite loop in style or layer
* Database busy
--Though I can post entries by going to "update journal" through my profile, I cannot actually get any entries on my journal or my friendspage to load once posted.
--I am having no problem whatsoever accessing OTHER users' journals if I type in their direct URL.
--This is not a firewall issue or an issue with my internet service provider.
--Clearing my cache does nothing.
--This seems to be a cluster-specific problem. My cluster is 'steaksauce'.
--I have made no recent changes to my layout or journal code.
My last attempt to resolve this through LJ Support (two weeks ago) was completely unsatisfactory. If this continues to be a problem, I will be canceling my paid account and moving to another blogging platform. I shouldn't be paying for something that does not work.

In other words, if they don't fix it this time, I am vamoosing over to Dreamwidth, where I have a backup account set up. I am not going to keep paying for a service that has barely worked in the past month. If I haven't been around as much lately and commenting even less than usual, this is why.
