Scheduling, candles, coffee.
-- Last night, I was felled by a kitty cuddle pile. J and I were snuggling, and suddenly we had all three cats purring contentedly in our laps. Being awake rapidly became not a thing.
-- I would be down with April Fools were I not so freaking lazy right now. Well, that, and quite frankly, there are a number of peeps on the ol' friendslist who are total killjoy pains in the asses about hating April Fools.
-- Today's docket: rehearsal, working on a silver lunula, and then finishing the day off with sushi &
bellybalt, who is visiting from Portland.
-- Been working on the Beltane candle, which should hopefully go up in a limited run at the end of next week. Sun-drenched, ripe raspberries, honeysuckle on the breeze, and grass stains on your knees!
-- In the realm of candles I've bought recently: I really love AJ's Country Cottage on Etsy. I got Hawaiian Plumeria, Coconut Milk & Peaches (a mainstay in this house), and Sweet Lime & Basil. I would like to go on a Voluspa spree sometime soon, but we'll see.
-- Stuff coming down the pike: more flowers (it's spring and so I am in a frenzy), faerie acorns, a couple more resin & ribbon pendants.
-- Ant control is happening. I successfully killed and/or diverted all the ones in the kitchen with my sweet orange and lemon spray. Unfortunately, they then found Jason's backup diabetes sugar stash and raided that. We vacuumed 'em with clorox, then sprayed the citrus mix again. So far, so good.
-- So. Scheduling. Next weekend is RenCon. It's also a weekend I am otherwise booked solid. I think I am going to try to come by the vendors' tables on Friday and say hi to people. I am thinking about the Friday Masquerade, but I was super underwhelmed by the FaerieCon ball in that space. So I don't know.
-- WHY OH WHY. Thorne Coyle is coming to Baltimore THE EXACT WEEKEND I'd already signed up to volunteer at Maryland Faerie Festival. SADFACE.
Okay. Need for coffee has become too great. Must go brew a pot.
