The Inara Necklace
I really challenged myself today.
From the Arabic word for 'Illumination' comes the Inara Necklace.* It is an intricately intwined and hammered wire piece adapted from a wire-only pattern published by Louise Jeremich. Spangled in ruby, garnet, and crimson pearl, this mock-up is for sale in brass, and can be commissioned in sterling silver and copper-- prices TBD according to the metals and gemstones requested. It took me a good 4 hours, but it was totally worth it! Everything here is handmade, including the clasps, except for the chain. Whee!

*Though, yes, of course, it does remind me of a beloved character, but IP and all, you know.
