In non-jewelry news...
You guys, sorry I've been all SHINY SHINY SHINY all the time lately. I've just been working quite a lot-- partially because I'm in that whole enthralled with new techniques phase and partially because I have a very busy February and hence must get my updates out early. I'm thinking of doing small updates rather than one big one during this month because there will be a solid week where I will be doing nothing but dancing, so I want to get them up while I have the time, you know?
My brain feels soggy. The snowpocalypse is upon us, and we are expecting over a foot of snow by morning. Now that I have the work portion of the evening done, I am free to luxuriate in a bath. I really need to get some books on tape for this express purpose. I like reading in the tub, but I'd much rather just close my eyes and listen after a long day.
But, I have lots of hot cocoa. I have more stuffs to make more cookies. I am ready to be barricaded in. Tomorrow, I am going to write out belated letters and thank you cards and read some of my backlog of Pagan books. I am taking a hiatus from working for a day and being a schlub in my PJs.
Random asides--
-- Zombieland was indeed very funny.
-- Legend of the Seeker continues to be watchable tropey fun. Mostly, I'm in it for the pretty (the main character reminds me a lot of Nathan Fillion) and very little else. But it has episodes of STARTLING kinkery for a Disney-funded show. Like, there are actual dominatrixes. In leather and everything. HAWT.
-- I want to post a Valentinr but the site is currently down. Poo.
