A Smattering of Things
-- Saw Daybreakers last night after a trip to Towson's rotating sushi bar. It was-- entertaining. Good worldbuilding. Iffy and questionable pseudoscience. Also, very very gory! Overall, it was unpretentious and easy to watch, 'cept one scene that had very marked Holocaust imagery. I'd wait for it on DVD, but overall, it's not a bad movie. J & I were discussing it in the car, because they seriously left it open for a sequel, but overall, a prequel is a movie I'd be most interested in seeing.
-- Waiting for someone to come and fix our dishwasher. I hope they get here soon, as I would like to clean the tub and take a bath.
-- Other than that, I'm having a quiet post-update sort of day. I have to finish up one commission piece and put together packages for mailing. Olive really, really wants to snuggle, so this is a bit of a challenge.

marinatempest & I had a private sword lesson with Belladonna on Friday. We got some good feedback and some help with one tiny part in our choreography that had previously left us unsatisfied. But! I did not drop my sword or forget my choreography in front of one of the best sword dancers in the business, so I will consider it a victory.
-- I did want to quietly address something. Given specific Google Analytics data plus a few other tip-offs, it's pretty clear to me that the rumor mill is grinding up. I simply ask that people remember that there are always at least two sides to any given story, and if you have any lingering questions regarding a situation or issue, please email me. I have not and don't intend to speak maliciously or unfairly about anyone, especially as I'd like to avoid further drama and runaway gossip, which would be hurtful and damaging to all parties involved. However, I will clarify my perspective honestly, privately, and confidentially if there are genuine concerns. That's the best way I can think of to separate truth (from my subjective position, obviously) from speculation that is currently occurring without making it a bigger issue than it needs to be. I would hate to lose friendships with those I respect based on conjecture. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, carry on, as I will not be responding to blanket questions of "what was that post about?" I intend to close the book, not open a new can of worms. Please respect that. Thanks!
