Don't Fear The Reaper
Pics of Jason before Kevin & Liaa's post-Halloween bash. It took place on Nov. 7th, which this year is 15 degrees Scorpio... astrological Samhain. So I went as a fortuneteller, took my runes, and read fortunes all night. No, really. All night. The party was packed and well over half wanted a reading.
Aaaaanywho...

Also, we went to the Faeriecon Good Faeries Ball on Friday night. I didn't get to do much else because of timing / post-wedding monies / tickets selling out, but I was excited to see and dance to Telesma. I miss the Trocadero theater a whole lot. At the Trocadero, there were tiers-- you could dance on the dancefloor, chill out and talk in the seats, or go upstairs to the bar for lower-key music and drinks. This time, the convention was held in a hotel, which may have worked brilliantly for the convention itself, but seriously robbed the ball of some magic.
It was good to see some of my LJ peeps, albeit for far too short a time. I came out of the night a little banged up-- my necklace scraped my neck up a bit and this one chick with giant white wings thwapped me pretty hard four times. Two of those times, her wings got stuck in my hair. Lady, look. You shouldn't do a full backbend in big wings on a crowded dancefloor, okay? Stop assaulting the other patrons. But, positively, Telesma rocked, and I danced my ass off.

And that was my weekend. Well, we also had dinner with Dixie & Jayson, which was lovely. But by then I was so tired I fell asleep at 8:30. Zonk.
