Zzzzt.
I have spent the bulk of the last 36 hours sleeping. After the ritual Saturday night, we took a shower and then curled up. I slept from 1am to 11am, which is 11 full hours, counting the DST change. Got up, did breakfast, bummed around while Jason played video games. Went to Petsmart to get Miss Mim's brand new punk rock pink collar. Had a little lunch, fell asleep for an hour. Doodled briefly on the internet, had a little bit of pumpkin soup J made, then started to feel really sick. I felt nauseated and I had a headache that was threatening to go migraine. I couldn't control my body temp-- cycling back and forth between being way too hot and being freezing, but I wasn't running a temperature. Pounded some water, took an Aleeve, passed out for another four hours. And I was out COLD-- J told me he was pushing cats off my face, and I didn't even notice. In fact, I pretty much slept from that point until 9am this morning.
I'm starting to feel back to normal. I have no idea what my body was dealing with, but it seems to be breaking. I'm going to take it easy today, but I will be ordering the bulk of the supplies for Winter holiday commissions today and tomorrow. Lots to do, lots to do.
As for the ritual on Saturday-- it was good. I personally didn't get any messages from my ancestors, but I might have gotten one from J's. Hard to tell, as it was pretty faint. I did get a fabulous reading, though, and I should look up the lady who gave it to me.
