Blessed Samhain & Happy Halloween!

Tonight, Jason and I are off to celebrate Samhain with a group ritual. It's Jason's first Pagan event and my first public ritual in quite some time. I was lucky enough to have been invited to share the holiday with several covens and groups, so I decided that I would break my public ritual absence tonight. If all goes well, I may seek to do open & public rituals more often.

Made yummy pumpkin pancakes for breakfast this morning. They were much better than my first batch, owing to the addition of more cinnamon and a thicker batter for softer insides. Add coffee and some snuggling by a very lovey Olivebean and it was an excellent morning.

I'm about to take a bath-- Fantasy Bath's Cinderella, BPTP's pumpkin pie bath oil, Arcana's Sleepy Hollow scrub. Follow it up with Haunt's Bloodletting glossing oil and some vintage BPAL Samhain '04 oil. And then to get dressed for the ritual.

I got my Faery's Muse order for Haunt goodies, which came very quickly. After Erin announced that she would not be producing any more product after Jan 1st, I decided to get an LE oil and a bunch of samples while I could so I knew what to order when Faery's Muse & Scent Addict restock. Bloodletting glossing oil (LE) was a good choice to nab now-- it's incensey and red musky. It will layer well with my deeper scents. Rasa perfume is a definite, as well as a backup bottle of Rasa glossing oil-- it's my very favorite thing from Haunt. Very likely Lovehound perfume as well, which smells a lot like Villainess's Asphyxiate and Ava Luxe's Golden Amber. Maybe a glossing oil of that as well. Winter House perfume is a maybe-- it's a quite lovely creamy cinnamon cake and apples scent, but I have quite a few perfumes in that scent family already.

Still no sign of my Haunt Etsy order from October 1st. My Halloween goodies did not reach me by Halloween, and I'm quite peeved about that. I want my pumpkin cake lip balm, dammit.
