BPAL Inventory
So, I'd fallen away from my BPAL addiction for awhile. Part of it is less disposable income, part of it is that the updates have become larger and larger and more overwhelming. A lot of the scents are being reviewed as smelling similar to other scents, and I haven't tried many recently that were instant loves like the ones that began me on the path-- the thick, sweet smutty promise of Sin. The bright enchantment of Titania. The slithering warmth of Lampades. The comforting enigma of Snake Oil. The quiet beauty of Snow White.
Though I've tried over half of the GC, I rarely buy bottles these days and only really join the occasional decant circle. In fact, I've been pretty good about selling off or swapping what doesn't work for me and have mostly only kept favorites. In the interest of keeping track of what I have), I decided to do an inventory. A lot of the labels got ruined when my beloved Lughnasadh spilled during one of my many moves, but that can be fixed easily enough if I want to swap.
Bottles: LE & GC
Agape -- Very pretty but rarely worn, may swap.
Aglea -- 1/3 bottle. Will definitely reorder when it runs out.
Autunno -- 1/2 bottle.
Beaver Moon-- 1/4 bottle. Swapped most of it but saved a little because it is really nice, just very foody.
De Sade -- 1/2 bottle. Like it but rarely wear it because J isn't a fan.
Devil's Night '05 -- 1/2 bottle. Nice on chilly Autumn nights where I don't want to smell foody.
Dead Man's Hand -- 1/2 bottle.
Eden -- 3/4 bottle and lovely in summer.
Fee -- 1/3 bottle.
Hamadryad -- 1/2 imps' worth. My dear, departed, beloved Hamadryad. The cinnamony one, before it went all minty-birch. I loved this one so dearly and keep the rest for a sniffie.
Harvest Moon '04 -- 2ml. Mostly kept for a reminder of where I was when I got it. I don't really wear it.
Harvest Moon '05 -- Rarely worn, 1/3 bottle, may swap.
Hungry Ghost Moon -- 1/2 bottle, lovely in summer.
Litha '06 -- 1/2 bottle and lovely in summer.
Mabon -- 1/4 bottle. Like Lughnasadh, this is on my "I'd kill for more, but fat chance" list.
Mlle Moriarity, Misfortune Teller Prototype -- 1/2 bottle.
O -- The dregs of a bottle. May reorder.
Pumpkin Queen -- 1/2 bottle and love love love.
Punkie Night -- 3/4 bottle. Overlooked in favor if Pumpkin Queen a lot, but I wear it occasionally.
Rose Red '04 -- 1/3 bottle and LOVE.
Samhain '04 - Half bottle. This one is potent.
Shub Niggurath - 1/4 bottle. Will reorder when it's done.
Snake Oil -- Aged to perfection! A mainstay in my collection.
Snow Moon -- 1/2 bottle. Lovely snow-and-trees scent with a tiny bit of berry spice. Want more of this one.
Snow White '05 -- 1/2 bottle. I wear this a lot in winter, around the holidays. I'm always worried it won't come back, so maybe I should get a second bottle.
Spooky -- 1/2 bottle. You will pry this out of my cold dead hands.
Sudha Segara -- The dregs of a bottle. Will likely not reorder because it's so light, but it is lovely.
Talvikuu -- 1/2 bottle. More birchy than Snow Moon, but a lovely winter scent.
The Star -- 1/2 of a 10ml bottle.
The Lion -- 1/4 bottle. I used to wear this one a lot, but I tend to prefer richer ambers now. Will likely not reorder.
Titania -- Full bottle, recently reordered.
Tulzcha -- 2/3 bottle. Occasionally fantastic in summer, but overall I don't wear it so much because I rarely crave mint.
