So, I did some thinking. After the Frouds AND BPAL pulled out of this year's event, I am not entirely enthused about going to the actual con. I was mostly planning on going to meet Beth and see the Frouds talk. I don't see Holly Black on the roster, either. Alas, alack. Now, if I went, I'd be paying money to go and be tempted to buy things I actually cannot afford because I just had a wedding.

I am, however, still going to go to the masquerade balls. I still want to see all my faerie gals who live far away. I want to see SJ Tucker on Friday (plus I like Telesma), and I wouldn't miss the Bad Faeries Ball for the world. Jason will be with me on Good Faeries night, and I will be solo on Bad Faeries night (he'll be at a competing shindig). I think Ariel is going, and if so, I'll likely crash with her that night. But if not, I might ask for backup crash-age. Or hey, if you're going and don't mind crashing in my living room, you can save your hotel cash and stay at my place in exchange for a ride.
