Well, at least it balances out.

The bad: For one, the forecast this weekend went from 65 and sunny to 50 and scattered showers. Gulp. For two, Ariel is sick. For three, my throat started swelling last night. Am staying in bed lots and drinking tea & broth lots. Have sent husband on Tulsi Tea mission on his lunchbreak, and Flissy is bringing a coupla bags of chai. The timing of this blows-- and it's because things were really warm and lovely, then changed to cold and brisk overnight. That always gets me. Good energy would be appreciated. I would rather my face not be all swollen up like Bear Grylls on my wedding day.

The good: I got my care package swap from fieryredhead. As she is a fellow tribal dancer, it had a buncha costumey bits in it-- beaded rounds to sew to a belt (and I do have one naked banjara belt), yarnfalls for a costume, a black glittery hairflower, a big 'ol ring. Plus some sparkly bindi bits. There was also an oil diffuser with two scents for diffusing, some TAL decants, garnets and pearls for crafting, and a piece of sparkly indian textile.

YAY, thank you! I am excited!

Also, I have Olive laying, both paws on my shoulder, snorgling my face. Awww, kitty love in original New Mexico flavor.

Today: brief rehearsal, then rest, fluids, rest, and more fluids.
