Things that are not good:
1. I burned my hand pretty badly yesterday morning on what else? The toaster oven. Our toaster oven doesn't work, and we need a new one, but that's besides the point. I now have a good almost inch-long burn on my fancy ring hand that I am certain will scar. I'm going to get some arnica today and rub it in religiously.
2 I also have a fat lip. No recollection whatsoever at how this happened.
3. One of our helpers for moving the giant dresser completely flaked out this morning, and I worry that we won't be able to move the thing with me, J, and Kevin. Also, yay, it is raining. If you wanna help us move something around 11, let me know and we will feed you and hug you and crown you King or Queen of the world.
4. I love my cat. However, she is making it damn near impossible to do anything lately-- from constantly attacking my necklace (thus scraping me up), interfering all day long while I try to work (oooh! shiny! swatswatswat!), and then keeping us awake all night-- either by aggressively nudging our faces and attacking our feet or crying piteously when we put her out. And then when I wake up, she's knocked EVERYTHING off my office table. This is typical baby behavior, I am sure. BUT. While momma and daddy love her and play with her whenever we can, we still have to work. Which requires us to sleep. We need to get her a playmate SOON-- timely, because her vet appt is Tuesday.
LE SIGH AND ALSO HARRUMPH.
