A little slow to get moving this morning. I feel exhausted. I think it's more emotional than physical-- I had some anxiety last night and had to call a friend to come over and hang out so the quiet apartment wouldn't drive me out of my skull. Can't wait to have insurance again, man.
I did do a really great dance workshop yesterday, though. Ali of n.o.madic tribal did a four hour workshop teaching a gorgeous choreography to Bassnectar's 'Ananda Enchanted' with movements that made us all feel like Hindu Goddesses on the sides of stone temples. (I also was amused because the chant she used during the workshop had the same words-- the Gayatri Mantra-- as the Battlestar Galactica theme song.)
Olive is all up in my business this morning. We actually had to put her out of the bedroom at 3:30 because of aggressive nuzzling while her humans were trying to sleep. I'm chilling out with some tea, about to work on our TheKnot website until Anna gets here for lunch. Slowly but surely, I'm working through my tea pantry-- mainly to make room for other much loved teas. I really want to re-order this coconut chai and am annoyed that the chocolate chai from the same seller is rooibos-based. I have never met a rooibos I've liked, and believe me, I've tried.
