Goooooooooooooooooooooodmorning. Olive was very active last night. She knocked over my waterglass at 4:30am. She woke me for food at 6. She started her kissing licking alarm clock at 7:45. I get it, kittycat. You want me awake. And playing with you. At all times that are not times you are asleep in my lap. I can't tell if Olive's had a total personality switch or I'm actually dealing with the ghost of Squeaky.
I am hoping I actually get to see my fiance tonight. He's been working stupid long hours again and getting in past 11pm. At which point all hope for wedding planning is shot. On the upside, he bought a stupidly large TV yesterday. I say "upside" not because I care, but because now he'll stop talking about wanting to buy a stupidly large tv.
The recent Kenneth Branagh version of As You Like It is boring as hell. I have tried to get through it twice, and I just don't think it's gonna happen. Pity, as Romola Garai is so so so so pretty I almost can't stand it.
Bought some more autumn beads! Finally, I picked up a strand of multi-gemstone carved leaves I've been eyeing for almost a year (you'd think the seller would have lowered the price a bit, but nooooo). I am excited. I also got a BANGIN' price on six 16mm ruby focals... that I'll be using to make necklaces for my favorite band. Because I'm one of those fans. You know, the overly expressive but not stalkery ones. Hopefully it won't come off as too weird.
I also ordered something for my witchy swap! And put a downpayment on my BOS.
Today: I'm going to make a change to a piece I'm sending out, then pack orders from the last two days. Trip to the PO, then down to the library to drop off rentals. Then back here, amassing addresses for peeps who need written invitations (close family, out of towners).
This weekend: beadshoppin' with Nora tomorrow. Quite possibly doing the Ali of N.O.madic workshop on Sunday if I can catch a ride with one of my local ladies. J will be surfing in Assateague. Fnergh.
