CHARACTER NAME: Faith Lehane
SERIES: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel
CANON POINT: Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 7 episode 22, Chosen.
AGE: 21
APPEARANCE:

And Drawn!
PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY: Nope.
PERSONALITY:
It would be really easy to say that everything that Buffy is, Faith isn’t, and that everything Faith is, the other Slayer isn’t. Life isn’t as remotely simple as that though, but this statement can’t be completely discarded anyway. Where Buffy had a group of people to encourage her to keep up with her duties without straying from the “good” path, Faith was alone (or even worse, manipulated by others) to make all the wrong choices and to get nothing but punishment and lack of understanding out of them, creating a vicious circle in which she slowly but surely sunk. When first shown, Faith appears in Buffy’s eyes as a Slayer that has no restraints, no responsibilities and nobody to answer to, which might sound appealing, but at the same time meant that she had nobody to trust and the entire world, vampire or not, was against her. Even worse, with the time she had spend on her own her ability to relate with other people had been greatly damaged, and she ultimately came to face Buffy and to reject her ideals time and time again, although for different reasons.
It’s obvious that Faith has a strong desire to be accepted, but she isn’t really good at making this obvious, as she is usually defensive about her feelings after having spent her entire life keeping them to herself. She seems to specially yearn for parental figures, as she developed a bond of sorts with the Major, even when she knew what he wanted to do, and later on with Giles. Friendship comes difficult to Faith, and even Buffy, the person that she has admitted gets her the best can’t help but have constant quarrels with her because of their past and conflicting personalities. The fact it took them years to finally settle in the same team (something that doesn’t even last that much) speaks a lot of just how complicated is for Faith to keep friends as such. She defaults to be a loner when given the chance, and will rarely ask for help unless it’s something that involves other people and not just her.
Faith is a fight loving, violence addict that can’t stay put for too long. She’s not the type that settles for cozy, safe places, as she mainly knows and thrives in hostile environments, and has one too many inner demons to consider herself worthy to have a nice life. Because of this she isn’t afraid of making tough choices (like dusting vampire children or assassinating other Slayers if needed) and will always try to be the one to carry on them before letting someone else do them, as that is one of the few ways she can effectively protect others. Knowing this, she doesn’t actively tries to be the kind of hero Buffy is, someone who everyone looks up to and follow, but rather to be a shadow on the background, with no pride nor shame to care about.
Unsurprisingly enough, Faith is a very physical person; what she likes the touches, and that goes from a friendly wedge to being all over whoever has her interest at the moment. While she doesn’t think much of sex (as in, she’s fine with the concept of casually sleeping around as long as it’s a mutual agreement) she becomes more reserved on those matters the more she cares about the other person, which is yet another way of protecting them, but this time the threat is herself, as she thinks she’s damaged to the point that anything serious will undoubtedly end up hurting the other side. She isn’t that gone to be unable to love though, but it certainly takes her time to give herself a break and allow some happiness to seep in. Faith is used to have those taken away from her pretty soon though.
ABILITIES:
Faith has all the standard Slayer abilities. These include.
- Superior strength and durability, as Slayers are tasked with dealing with whatever supernatural that has to be taken out, and which is usually well beyond human standards. While the strength of a Slayer seems to be a little inconsistent on canon, Faith is strong enough to be capable of punching holes into concrete walls. On the same line, a Slayer is ridiculously more resilient than a normal person, having both Buffy and Faith fell from several stores, being stabbed and left in a coma for months (only to wake up and immediately fight each other, with Faith being the one in the coma), get hit by trucks, punched repeatedly and a long etc. Firearms and sharp weapons do hurt them though. They also present a lot more of stamina than a regular person.
- Enhanced reflexes/senses and agility; just as it says, Slayers are capable of moving really fast (enough to catch up with a motorcycle once) and react faster than regular people, being able to dodge arrows and the like. This usually puts an edge on their fighting skills, as they are capable of dodging and hitting several times faster, thus being capable of taking down enemies that might be stronger than them.
- Accelerated healing, in the scenario they get hurt. A Slayer usually heals whatever wounds sustained overnight, with more serious ones (such as broken bones) taking several nights or weeks, depending on the gravity of the wound. This ability allowed Faith to survive a serious stab wound, falling down several stores and stay there for God knows how long without medical aid until she was taken to a hospital.
- Shared Dreams: simply put, all the Slayers have a psychic link of sorts that tie them together, allowing the present Slayer to obtain knowledge and experience from her past comrades, with dreams being the first signals of activation among Slayers. Because Faith and Buffy are both Slayers, their dreams tend to be interconnected, even when Faith was on a coma.
POSSESSIONS:
- Clothes (jean, shirt, underwear, shoes, and socks).
- A wooden stake.

JOURNAL ENTRY SAMPLE:
[The first thing that appears on screen is a dent on the wall that is pictured on the feed. It looks like a rather sturdy wall, mind you. Moments later, the face of certain Slayer pops in, looking less impressed than she usually is. This is also something to keep in mind.]
I’m not even going to bother asking how do I ended up here or who do I get out. Just find me the idiot I have to punch into a fucking bloody pulp for thinking it would be fun to play a little game with me.
[A beat, in which Faith tries to calm herself.]
Otherwise get me something to drink. It’s too early in the, huh….[Looking up, Faith can’t really tell whether it’s dawn or dusk, morning or just a very crappy afternoon.] the weather is too stupid for me to and crack a joke, figures.
You know what? Just leave me alone. I’ll find me somebody to punch on my own.
[Well that was useful ]
