I love films. Now I actually want to see how many I watch. So, here they are.

Rating
= unbelievably awesome and now counts among my favourites.
= damn good, but not phenomenal.
= worth watching.
= okay film, works when extremely bored.
= I regret watching this.

01.	14-11-2009	Star Trek		I guess I loved it so much because I'm a fan of the whole series. I missed the retro charm of TOS, though.
02.	15-11-2009	Casablanca		Beautifully written. Now I can see what all the fuss is about.
03.	15-11-2009	Gone With the Wind ♣		No matter how many times I watch it, I am still amazed by how much emotion it conveys.
04.	20-11-2009	Barry Lyndon		Loving Kubrick, as always. It was far too long, though.
05.	21-11-2009	Trainspotting ♣		It had some good parts, but overall it seems exaggerated. The Kubrick references were cute.
06.	26-11-2009	Dr. Strangelove		Surprisingly funny. LOVED IT.
07.	27-11-2009	Lost Highway		Aah, David Lynch. I've always found his illogical dream world to be highly disturbing, in a good way.
08.	28-11-2009	Forest of the Hanged		Remarkable acting. I enjoyed it much more than the book, but the music was annoying for the most part.
09.	28-11-2009	Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain ♣		I've always considered it a beautiful film, but now that I watch it again, some parts are just too artsy for my taste.
10.	30-11-2009	Amadeus		Mozart's story is shown from an extremely interesting perspective. Alas, I found the film much too long. I was too bored by the final part to properly enjoy the ending.
11.	30-11-2009	Next Stop Paradise		Surprisingly good, even though I'm starting to get tired of all the Romanian comedy-dramas.
12.	01-12-2009	The Godfather		Pretty much flawless, yet somehow fails to captivate me entirely.
13.	05-12-2009	The Rest Is Silence		The ending ruined it for me. Sacrificed the atmosphere for the sake of clarity. I think an open ending would have been much more fitting.
14.	06-12-2009	Down With Love		Its style pays great homage to the sex comedies of the sixties, but nothing more.
15.	06-12-2009	District 9		I see why it can appeal to certain people, but I simply hated it, despite my love for sci-fi. I expected so much more from it.
16.	07-12-2009	Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas		Visually and mentally exhausting. I guess I should have been stoned in order to properly enjoy it.
17.	10-12-2009	Chicago		In spite of my general dislike of musicals, this one was pretty good.
18.	17-12-2009	Fargo		The characters are extremely well-written, but the plot isn't very captivating.
19.	17-12-2009	Bande à part ♣		One of my all-time favourites. Amazing in its simplicity.
20.	18-12-2009	The Big Lebowski		The Coen brothers, yet again. Amazingly funny, but a bit overdone.
21.	18-12-2009	Reservoir Dogs ♣		I love pretty much anything Tarantino makes.
22.	19-12-2009	Lolita (1962)		It was kind of boring overall, but I liked Kubrick's vision. It's different from the way I'd pictured the book, but good nonetheless.
23.	21-12-2009	The Doors		Utter crap. It made me feel disgusted with The Doors, in spite of my love of their music. It's not artistic. Just annoying.
24.	23-12-2009	The Illusionist	/	Extremely overrated. The ending was well-written, but it struck me as rather boring otherwise.
25.	25-12-2009	Stardust		Beautiful story. A fairytale with a twist.
26.	27-12-2009	Igby Goes Down		Beautiful, yet much too similar to The Catcher in the Rye.
27.	01-01-2010	Lolita (1997)		Much more explicit than the '62 version. Also, <3 Jeremy Irons.
28.	02-01-2010	Open Your Eyes		Amazing. Makes me want to take up Spanish again.
29.	03-01-2010	Vanilla Sky		You take a good movie, you ruin it, end of story.
30.	10-01-2010	The Sea Inside		Amenabar yet again. Pure brain food.
31.	18-01-2010	The Road	/	I haven't read the novel it's based on, but overall it's a great film.
32.	24-01-2010	One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ♣		Stunningly dramatic, in its own way.
33.	03-02-2010	The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus		Beautiful visuals, wild plotline.
34.	07-02-2010	Paris, je t'aime	/	I got bored halfway through. Expected more from it.
