2025 and newer vehicles receive core OnStar features for up to 8 years, including automatic crash response and remote commands. Eligible vehicles also include connectivity for select apps, including in-vehicle voice assistance, plus real-time navigation and audio streaming on the vehicle’s centre display.

Yes, OnStar has refreshed its lineup of plans to make choosing the right one easier and more straightforward. The previous plans—Premium, Essentials, OnStar Preferred Plus Wi-Fi, and Safety & Security—are no longer offered. However, the new plans continue to offer the same great features that members love, including safety, connectivity, and convenience—just under new plan names.
