Based on feedback from our clients, we believe that the vast majority of our clients can - and do - eat while wearing the veneers. If you choose to eat with the veneers in place, we strongly encourage you to remember that you're wearing a cosmetic item, and choose your food options accordingly.
For example, eating fish or chicken would be advisable to a well-done steak, and if you did eat a steak, we'd suggest cutting into smaller, more manageable pieces. Mashed potatoes would be a safer choice than carrots, and an apple slice might be fine, whereas I wouldn't recommend biting into a whole apple. - Basically, do whatever you can to avoid challenging the veneers, and be sure to rinse them out thoroughly after eating.
Our dental veneers are great for people who are missing teeth. The temporary veneer will wrap around your remaining teeth like a shell, and where you're missing teeth, it will be solid - in the shape of a tooth. Giving you a full, and uniform smile.
We ship you a specialized impression system that has all of the materials and detailed instructions you need to take impressions of your own teeth at home. Once we get those impressions we'll use 3D scanning to create a high resolution, digital model of your teeth, and our designers use that model to determine the fit and look of your BIL Veneers. We don't recommended you sleep with the dental veneers in place. To keep the veneers clean and hygienic, we recommend soaking your veneers overnight in a non-abrasive denture cleaner.
The big deal about our BIL Veneers is they’re designed to last you for years and years, but that's all based on how you take care of them. Some people don’t wear them all the time. Some people only wear them when they’re not at work. Some people wear them when they go out. If you treat your dental veneers like they're the only veneers you have…If they're a tool like a comb or brush, or part of your makeup routine, then you’re going to take care of your veneers. If you take care of they, they should last you more than five years.
Your BIL Veneers really should be removed at night, and we recommend putting them in our UltraSonic Cleaner with a denture soak (any generic brand will do). We don't advise eating any challenging foods, i.e, tough meats, harder breads –like bagels or baguettes. And if you do eat in the veneers, we recommend you rinse them thoroughly afterward. We'd also suggest keeping your temporary veneers in the protective case any time you aren't wearing them.
