What can only be described as a mass hallucination appears to have affected the West Midlands, even spreading as far as northern Warwickshire and southern Staffordshire. Panicked witches and wizards sent out letters all across the country, prompting the Ministry to send in forces to do damage control. Strangely, the sense of panic and odd sightings passed after a while and muggles didn't seem to notice any of the happenings. Upon being asked, a few attributed it to "winter blues."
Ministry officials are unsure at the moment what caused the hallucinations, but are attributing it to an experiment gone wrong. As of yet, no one has stepped forward to take responsibility.
