This programming environment was written for the ENGR 233 class. It addresses the need for a common environment for the student to use in school as well as at home.

The program can be used to access the actual hardware in school, while also allowing the student to bring the program home and use the same environment in a simulated hardware mode.

An editor is also provided, which may be used to write and assemble programs. The editor has the familiar Windows interface similar to notepad or any other text editor. Using the editor is just like any other simple windows text editor. It also shows the current line number in the status bar, as well as the date, time, and the last assembly status message.
