Description

The RE-HAB project aligns with the RE-HAB of Society 5.0, which integrates technological advancements with human-centered approaches to solve pressing social and environmental challenges. In the context of the habitat sector, this means leveraging AI, big data, digital twins, and IoT to optimize resource use, improve energy efficiency, and facilitate sustainable design solutions (Deguchi, A., et al., 2020). RE-HAB equips students with digital competencies that allow them to integrate smart technologies into circular economy strategies, preparing them to lead sustainable and technology-driven innovation in the industry.
SHINE will lead WP2, “Defining Competencies for Social Innovation and Sustainability in the Habitat Sector.” Within WP4, SHINE will coordinate a pilot for at least 50 participants who will test and evaluate the RE-HAB e-learning course.
