Thousands of families in Wales are stuck in temporary accommodation. Nobody should face homelessness alone.

We helped 1 in every 96 children in Wales last year, but there are still so many that need our help.

Hostels. B&Bs. Hotels. These are not homes.

Temporary accommodation is meant to be a last resort, and never more than a short-term option before people can get the home they need.

But for many families, it becomes a trap… unsafe, unsuitable, and damaging to children’s health, education, and wellbeing.

Some children will share a room with their parents. Others will have no space to play, no quiet corner to do homework – and no idea where they’ll be living next week.

Thanks to your support, we are already helping one person in housing need every 5 minutes. But we know there are more people out there who need us.*

We support people experiencing all types of homelessness, and those at risk of it. Our legal advice, housing guidance and emotional support helps keep people in their homes. And in 90% of cases, we prevent homelessness entirely.** Our help is free of charge, and available to anyone in Wales who needs it.
