When I acquired this little pot of joy the plant was almost dead; shrivelled and looking desperate. Something inside me when I saw it said “this can be brought back to life, I wonder what it will look like?” I knew that with a little TLC this sorry looking little plant could become something beautiful.
And so I paid 50p for it, took it home and spent the winter watering, turning it and talking to it (no I’m not stark raving mad – my grandma always swore by talking to your plants to make them thrive; science is at work here because as you talk to your plants you are breathing CO2 onto them, this is food for plants, in case you didn’t know that already 😉 …….but I’m sure you did).
So, after giving some time and love, something that was almost dead is now a beautiful piece of Nature’s glory that gives me utter delight every time I look at it. As I photographed it I realised that the same principal applies in life in general ……….
Whether you’re withered from depression and difficult situations or your creative juices have dried up; or even for any situation, skill, person or article that seems lifeless, almost dead, there is HOPE.
Hope because literally ANYTHING that has even the slightest little bit of life force remaining can, with love, time and attention be rekindled, given new life to once again become something beautiful.
With this thought remaining I urge you NEVER TO GIVE UP HOPE on yourself or something which you believe in or want to achieve. Breathe some life into yourself; just sit and breathe and remember all the things that are good about you and in your life. Sit in quiet and simply breathe and observe the thoughts and inspiration that will likely come to you. With a bit of patience, practice and time new ideas and inspiration will come to you. Maybe answers that you’re seeking will become apparent.
Give your Self some time and some tender love and care; after all, who is more deserving of your TLC than YOU?
ABOVE ALL THINGS: NEVER LOSE HOPE
As long as you have a breath in you, you can rekindle what was almost dead, no matter what ‘that’ is. There is nothing more important than giving yourself some love; as you start to do that all aspects of life start to feel better, you will more easily find solutions to your problems and you will more easily accept and release that which you cannot change, life can be beautiful again………I promise you.
You already are a perfect manifestation and aspect of the universal life force – in all your unique and wonderful ways. You ARE deserving of all that life can offer you.
