I love everything about SheCodes. The concept of teaching code to women is inspiring. I like how its being taught. I like everything I am learning and the pace. I like the explanations and the simplicity. I love this course!

Greetings everybody, initially when I joined the SheCodes workshop I was struggling with almost everything, during the workshop classes I've managed to learn to build landing pages, with skills gained during the classes, place me on cloud nine. I highly recommend the workshop to every women out there who wants to understand and fit in the 21st century technology. Hats off to teacher Matt Delac and his team for clear lesson presentations, truly appreciated. Lastly, I would like to thank the SheDreams Foundation for granting me the opportunity to study coding.

Learning with Shecodes is always fun, because I never thought it could be so challenging and exciting at the same time.

Completing the Advanced React add-on was a great experience. It helped me strengthen my understanding of React and build more interactive applications with confidence. I really enjoyed the hands-on project of dictionary app. This course has taken my coding skills to the next level.

At 51, I finally decided it was time to build the future I actually want. I've spent years working in the restaurant industry, and while it's taught me so much, I'm ready to move on — and SheCodes is helping me make that happen. This is the first time in my life that I am truly enjoying what I'm learning. After long shifts on my feet, I come home and actually look forward to opening my laptop. The lessons are clear, the community is incredibly supportive, and I have never once felt like I was too old or too late to start something new. I can already see a bright future ahead — one where I build things with code instead of carrying plates. If you're dreaming of a change, SheCodes is the place to start. It's never too late.

The program was easy and enjoyable to follow along and I have been able to polish up on my HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge and skills and this has given me confidence to embark on my tech and freelancing journey.

I have never thought JavaScript shall hold up a challenge, but after watching Mister Delac's great videos over and over again, I conquered it. I wish to learn more because I am so excited. I can't wait to develop these skills further and see where they would take me.

I used to look at websites and wonder how everything worked ,the colors, the layouts, and how everything came together. I had no background in coding or computers, and it all felt like a mystery to me. But SheCodes changed that. Now I understand how it all works, and I’ve learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Instead of asking “who made this?”, I now confidently say, “I can create this too.” Being able to style my own pages and bring ideas to life has been such an empowering experience, especially in a world that is rapidly becoming more digital and technology-driven. I completed the SheCodes Python Basics course and really enjoyed it. The lessons were easy to follow, and the exercises helped me practice coding. It gave me a good foundation to continue learning Python.

I enjoyed this workshop as I got to learn how to code and create fun pages by myself. The homeworks got me thinking a lot, trying to make my code work and figuring out things. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as I got to learn a lot.

Good intro to the subject

Loved SheCodes Advanced, it was so informative and the final project was super fun to do, with great instructions throughout!

The workshop is fun, you can make it as interactive as you want. The steps were sometimes a little challenging. But it is definitely worth the try and all of the effort!

Learning React proved to be the most challenging aspect of my journey so far. I appreciate the support, patience, and knowledge-sharing from the SheCodes team, which significantly helped my understanding of this framework.

I now feel significantly more confident navigating complex codebases, debugging effectively, and building applications that are both performant and user-focused. ♡❤️

Challenging but fun

I had a great experience with the SheCodes workshop! The lessons were clear, engaging and easy to follow; which made learning enjoyable. Python advanced was extremely fun.. Although there were some moments I was on fire with the assignments, at times it was a bit challenging. Ready for the next courses to start!!

SheCodes Plus AI was an exciting step forward in my coding journey. It made complex concepts like APIs and AI feel approachable and practical. I loved how the lessons combined clear explanations with hands-on projects, so I could immediately apply what I learned. Building something that actually integrates AI felt incredibly rewarding and gave me a real sense of progress. The flexibility to learn at my own pace, together with the supportive Slack community, kept me motivated throughout. This course didn’t just expand my technical skills—it showed me what’s possible. I now feel more confident exploring more advanced, AI-driven projects.

This was admittedly a challenging workshop, but extremely worth it! I'm really pleased with my final project. As with all the previous workshops, the guidance and support from the team was excellent. Matt does a really great job of breaking things down in order to explain the "plumbing" of how a react app works and describing what the code is doing at certain stages, (such as in the case of how the props are passing through to the other components and how the useStates help to set and define the data for further functions to operate). It made it really accessible and digestible to someone who still feels relatively new to coding!

What a treat to build another beautiful website! I am enjoying it more and more with each time I do it.

In these workshops I could learn many different thing about coding that can help me have fun of coding and improving.

I took the SheCodes Python course as someone coming from a frontend background, and it was exactly what I needed to get started. The content is well-structured and genuinely informative without being overwhelming. What I appreciated most is the practical approach. Everything is applied directly, so you're writing real code from the start rather than just reading theory. That said, be prepared to put in the work outside the course as well. The material gives you a solid foundation, but getting confident with Python takes consistent practice on your own. If you're willing to do that, this course is a great starting point.

I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on course and learning how to add intereting features to the page using CSS. I'm excited to take this knowledge and apply it to my work.

Great Class

Loved learning about Python, I find myself thinking about the coding and challenges during the day, being 54 I thought I couldn't grasp SheCodes courses, Matt Delac, has made the lessons really good to follow, looking forward to moving onto the other courses. Thank you SHECODES team

This workshop offered a solid and well-structured introduction to Artificial Intelligence in web development. The content was clear, organized, and easy to follow, with a strong focus on practical application. It helped me build a better understanding of how AI can be integrated with front-end technologies in a real and effective way. Overall, it was a valuable and engaging learning experience.

Mac is an amazing teacher, thank you so much for the phenomenal experience. I really appreciate it. The lessons were super insightful.

This course has made me willing to re-take my interest in coding again. Self-pace suits me very well as a 45+ yo single mom with 2 daughters and having highly demanding job at the same time. Matt always explains the lesson in a way that's easy for me to understand.

These techniques for job searching are vital, and I appreciated learning these helpful tips and look forward to furthering my coding skills and education with SheCodes.

This workshop was a wonderful opportunity for me to learn how to use APIs and work with an AI API. Throughout the project, I learned debugging, handling real API responses, and improving user experience with dynamic updates and animations.

Was really hard, had to get a lot of help from AI but in the end it worked out fine. Must admit Javascript ist not my favourite ;)

The final project was really effective at balancing guidance and student application on new founded React skills. This was a highly rewarding challenge.

This course was so hand on, I learned a lot. It gave me a new appreciation for AI and insight into how to condition and work with it. Can't wait to learn how to integrate it in python.

I liked this course. I never really thought about how to write a prompt and also give a context. I will use AI in a much better way now.

I am familiar with Python data structures, such as dictionaries, from my computer science coursework, particularly for tasks like label mapping and model parameter configuration. This workshop provided valuable hands-on practice building a nested dictionary from CSV data and using it to drive a visualization.

I enjoyed the basic lessons, it has gotten me excited to carry on with the others. I Loved that I was able to do it in my own time and own pace and Athena was a great help.

I had a lot of fun with the SheCodes Plus add-on course. Working on the world clock project, I ended up building a carousel to display the cities in a more user-friendly way, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was especially interesting to learn how to use Moment.js, as it made handling dates way easier and less frustrating.

THE SHECODES BAICS ADD ON BASICALLY HELPS ONE TO ADD MORE LIFE TO THE WBEPAGES AND I LOVED THAT ,IT WASNT AS FRUSTRATING AS I FIRST STARTED AND NOW MY PACE IS FASTER, MATT IS A GREAT TEACHER !!!

What a ride! I started with zero knowledge of coding and am now capable of creating a landing page from scratch! 🤩 I still have a lot to learn of course but I feel like this course has given me a strong foundation to build on. I found the learning units well designed and the exercises very helpful to cement the new inputs given. Also I had a lot of fun playing with CSS, it was perfect for expressing my creativity! 👩‍🎨 I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to try coding!

Fun times. From zero to creating web apps that output AI generated content :). I love the bite size modules that allow you to build knowledge little by little.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Python AI workshop. Working through each challenge step‑by‑step in the videos made a big difference for me. The React workshop was my favourite out of them all. Highly recommend it

Before SheCodes, I had limited experience with web development. Now, I've built real projects like a weather app using APIs, and I actually understand how everything connects. The platform has made learning feel manageable and even fun, and the step-by-step guidance helps me stay motivated. It gave me the confidence to keep growing in tech!

This has been, by far, the most difficult coding language for me. Matt really does a great job at "zooming out" and explaining the reason for different components, which helped me connect the dots better. I think I am the most proud of this react weather project. Thank you :)
