I... appear to have bought a computer while at the cinema last night.
I got home (from seeing In Bruges, which I recommend) to find that I'd won the ebay auction I was bidding on.
There's a shiny black Asus pc eee on its way to me, and for about £45 less than the best shop price (and all of the shops are out of stock, anyway)
The money saved is enough for an upgrade to 2gb of RAM and a memory stick (and the machine is coming with an 8gb SD card)
Right, who wants to throw/point me to some interesting Linux/open source software that you think I'll like?
