The community was tight-knit - people didn't even have individual houses, instead all living together. When war broke out, Fang's family was one of the many that were torn apart, and she ended up living in the village's orphanage. At first they thought she was like any other child; it was by accident that they discovered her enhanced abilities. One of the adults, recognizing that Fang's combination of skills made her an ideal close-quarters fighter, began to train her, which Fang took to eagerly.

She quickly volunteered to join the ranks of fighters, deciding that she could do a better job of protecting herself and her friends than what the army was accomplishing. But Oerba was losing the war, and Fang, along with her best friend, was chosen to carry out a desperate mission. They were given the power to transform into a beast that would ravage the enemy, thus winning the war through sheer annihilation. When her friend backed out, Fang stood firm, hoping to spare her friend and protect her people. But alone she was weakened, and the enemy managed to defeat her; though she had caused a lot of damage, it was not enough to win the war.

The trauma of her injuries and the transformation itself (for it is not a natural gift) made Fang lose her memories of the incident. She remembers everything up until the moment she was chosen for the task, and then nothing until she woke up just in time to learn that her friend was leaving the almost ruined village. It didn't take long for Fang to decide that she would accompany her friend, rather than leave her to fend for herself. Soon after they left, Fang got a large tattoo on her left arm. Her brand, its color changed from the transformation, was clearly visible on her right arm. She hoped that the new tattoo would help disguise the true meaning of the brand.

And then they simply wandered until they found Estrasia. Or more accurately, Fang likes to joke, it found them.

Previously on super_powers: Thanks to Namine's efforts, Fang was able to recover a single piece of her memory: the name "Ragnarok". This lead to a confrontation with Vanille which revealed her deception, but after a tense stand-off they were able to reconcile. Between random attacks by hostile creatures, the looming threat of the Darkness, and the island itself falling, Fang's started to consider protecting the school part of her responsibility.

And Fang's always taken her responsibilities seriously. This is a special case, however, considering the strong ties Fang feels with the community - her new home. With her renewed partnership with Vanille, Fang is ready for even the worst case scenario, as shown in one of their promises: "Whatever we have to... no matter what."

Personality:
(Note: I'm reusing the personality section I wrote for reims academy rather than my previous super_powers app. If this isn't acceptable, please let me know. It more accurately reflects Fang after the character development from the earlier events of s_p.)

To quote Vanille from the light novel: "Fang doesn't fight because she is strong, though she is quite strong. She fights because she is kind. She can never forgive those who hurt the people she loves." While this doesn't sum up Fang completely, it definitely highlights several important pieces of her personality. First off, Fang is strong. She's confident, proud, and independent. She knows what she wants and has no problem going after it, even if she has to do it alone. And if you don't like her, she's not going to lose any sleep over it. She returns the favor, often being very straight forward and candid. You'll always know where you stand with her: if she doesn't like you, she sees no reason to dance diplomatic around it. Of course, this strength also gets her into trouble sometimes: she can be exceedingly stubborn or suffer from tunnel-vision. It's the latter that she really has to look out for - coupled with her tendency to favor action over talking or waiting, she can really cause problems for herself or those around her.

All of that probably makes her sound like some stern, aloof person, when she's actually the complete opposite. In most situations, Fang's easygoing and casual, with a tendency to tease or flirt. It's that confidence showing through again - Fang has a devil-may-care attitude towards life, because if she gets into trouble she can get herself right back out again. It's also simply that she has nothing to prove to anyone, and that lifts a lot of restraints that might otherwise hold someone back. And despite her preference for action, she's not opposed to going slowly at times, because Fang's not the type to forget that life is fun. In fact, she'll scold those she finds too stoic or serious, though you'll also find her reining back those who are being a little too carefree.

And that's part of the kindness: Fang's a very compassionate person and a fiercely protective friend. She won't make excuses for people, but she'll drop everything or put aside her own feelings if someone needs her. This is where the tunnel vision can really affect her, as Fang can make some very stupid decisions if she feels it's necessary to protect her friends. As long as someone is well-intentioned and trying his best, Fang's willing to cut him a little slack. But this is one place where Fang doesn't reciprocate: while she can be open about her feelings, Fang's unlikely to confide in people if the only purpose would be to seek comfort or to vent her emotions. Fang handles herself.

Again, Fang's tough. Even though she is kind, don't think you can take advantage of her. In canon, when put into a support role Fang says everything from the encouraging "don't sweat it!" to the stern "show some spine!" to the irritated "I gotta do everything?" As easygoing as Fang usually is, she won't let you get away with just anything. It's hard to draw a clear line between what Fang will tolerate and what she won't, as it varies between both people and situation. Fang's elemental specialties in canon are water and air, and she can be much like those mutable, unpredictable elements. Still, if you need an ally to depend on, Fang is at the top of the list.

♜ SAMPLES
Third Person Sample:
Here's a log between Fang and Vanille.

First Person Sample:
And here is a thread with Heather!

Track listing and links under the cut!

First off, a note! The dialogue after the songs are quotes until you get to "Full Fathom Five". Starting on that song, everything is stuff I've written, so I'm to blame for any inconsistencies or mistakes with Heather.

...Normally there would be cover art or at least something, but uh. Well, you probably don't want to see it. It's a long story. Here it is, if you're feeling brave.

WELP MOVING ON. Without further ado:

Something That Remains
For Fang and Heather

Vesper - Deb Oh
"I don't even know you
But your light echoes in my mind for days
You don't even know me
But your smile says come what may.

Fiction is the new fact
Dusk is the new dawn
Our bodies are still intact
But our hearts have up and gone."

Fang: "We've got to stop meeting like this. Why can't we do coffee instead?"

[Meeting each other; they click from the start. Even though most of their early interaction is driven by events. Mostly dangerous, angsty events.]

Closing In - Imogen Heap
"Frame by frame,
Red speed dissolving,
The threat of your love in the headlights
Is it safe now?
Will your arms be open?

Closing in
I hope that you make it
Closing in
I hope that you find your way
Closing in
It's all that I want in the whole world
Closing in
Please be there, please be there."

Heather: FANG! MOMMY! [ And, as a note, that is Alessa calling Fang "mommy", simply because she works from Heather's mind-- and Heather thinks of Fang in that light. ]

[From the lyrics meme. Heather > Fang.]

Eric's Song - Vienna Teng
"Like a phoenix you rise from the ashes
You pick up the pieces
And the ghosts in the attic
They never quite leave
And of course I forgive
You've seen how I live
I've got darkness and fears to appease.

Strange how we know each other.

So we just hold on fast
Acknowledge the past
As lessons exquisitely crafted
Painstakingly drafted
To carve us as instruments
That play the music of life."

Fang: "I'll help ya out anytime, thanks or no thanks."
Heather: [ She tries another half-joke: ] "...Even if I beat you up with a pipe?" [ And it fails. Her smile instantly fades once she says it, and guilt creeps back into her expression. ]
Fang: "Yes. Even if you beat me up with a pipe. Even if you shoot me with one of those guns I know you've got squirreled away." [ Her tone turns a bit teasing. ] "Not that I'm encouraging that, mind you. Relax, Sunshine. A few bruises aren't worth losing you over."

[From the lyrics meme. Fang > Heather.]

You Are Not Alone - Kate Covington
"Won't you take my hand?
Come away with me from this land
Let me give to you
All that you have given to me

When the storm draws nigh
Dreams will shatter before your eyes
Know that you're not alone
When the battle starts
I will comfort your restless heart
You'll know that you are home

Shout into the night
Show the darkness that you will fight
Hopeless you may feel,
But I know you are strong."

Heather: "You don't know that." [ She shakes her head to make some sort of point, eyes narrowed. ] "It's hard to tell what's real and what isn't at that place. Maybe it was just screwing with your head like the school always does." [ Her voice is a little harsh, but only because she doesn't believe that Fang's home has been destroyed, or... maybe she doesn't want to believe it, for Fang and Vanille's sake. ]

[From the lyrics meme. Heather > Fang.]

Red Heart - Hey Rosetta
"Were you born in water,
A fish so cold?
Were you born in autumn,
As the river froze?
Cause you shut up
And you're shut in
And I know that
You've got your reasons
But even still, listen:
Honey, let your red heart show."

Heather: [ She attempts a light-hearted smile, which naturally comes out looking not-so-light-hearted. She's never really had friends before Estrasia, a result of bad character judgment and a dash of paranoia. She always likes hearing it said aloud-- she does have friends now, doesn't she? She takes it more to heart than most would. ]

Stay Beautiful - The Last Goodnight
"Post cards, throwing darts, side kicks and super marts
Break dance, second chance, I will run to you
Sideways, back and forth, wake up, hit the floor
Oh no, where'd you go, it will come to you.

Don't stop, don't change, stay beautiful
One life, today, you're irresistible
Get up, get out, stay wonderful
All this time is waiting for you."

Heather: "...You really think I'm a good kid, Fang?"
Fang: "Calling me a liar? Maybe that's why she pointed out the similarities in their stories. Fang knows that Heather likes her, respects her. Maybe if Fang's story resonates with Heather the way Heather's does with Fang...maybe she'll have a little more hope that there is a solution. ]

No Sound But The Wind - Editors
"Help me to carry the fire
We will keep it alight together
Help me to carry the fire
This road can't go on forever.

If I say shut your eyes, son
If I say look away
Bury your head in my shoulder
Think of a birthday

The things you put in your head
They won't stay there forever
I'm trying hard to hide your soul, son
From things it's not meant to see."

Fang: "I dunno what you're seeing, but it's not real. I won't let it hurt you anymore, Mommy."
Fang: "I'll do...what's necessary. No matter what. But I need to know." [ It's easy enough to say "it's just a fear, a monster made of nothing but smoke" but it's hard, having to look into that face and not know. It's too real a possibility, leaving a bitter taste on her tongue.] "And I don't want you getting hurt in the meantime."
Heather: "It's hurting you, it's hurting you...! She suddenly loses consciousness, and falls limp against Fang. ]

Fang: [ Sometimes, Kitten, there are prices you just have to pay. Fang would hope that Heather never has to learn that, though she has the uncomfortable feeling that Heather already has. ]

[Heather feels disconnected from the world, and Fang is one of her anchors. Meanwhile, Fang knows that her time is fast running out, and that, sooner than she would like, she'll be leaving Heather behind.]

Hands Open - Snow Patrol
"It's not as easy as willing it all to be right
Gotta be more than hoping it's right
I wanna hear you laugh like you really mean it
Collapse into me tired with joy."

Fang: "'sides, I already told you I wasn't gonna make you go it alone. That is the legacy she'd like to leave behind when she goes. And in the end, this may be the only way she can fulfill her promise. This lance, this ability, is a piece of herself that she's giving to Heather to help her when Fang's no longer around to do so. If she has to be gone, as she knows she must, at least she will haven given everything she has first. ]

Full Fathom Five - Audra McDonald, Anne Hathaway, and HEM
"Full fathom five thy father lies
Those are pearls that were his eyes
Of his bones are coral made
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange."

Fang: [ If she owes anyone an explanation, it's Heather. I wanted to make sure you were alright."
Heather: "Yeah, great. Never better." [ Her heavy-handed sarcasm is impossible to miss. ]

[And even if things don't go back to normal right away...]

Irgendwas Bleibt [Something Remains] - Silbermond
"But please swear, that when I return
Everything is still the same.
Give me a little bit of security
In a world where nothing seems secure.
Give me something that remains in this fast time.

Give me something, something that remains.
Even when the world goes crazy,
This place will remain untouched."

Fang: [ She grins as she knocks aside another monster, revealing Heather wielding a dented metal pipe, using it to keep several more creatures at bay. ] "Brought you something. Heads up!" [ With only that warning, she tosses Heather the lance she'd had made for her. ] "This place never changes, does it? Ready?"
Heather: [ She looks over with an easy, confident grin that matches Fang's. ] "Let's go."

[They can't be separated that easily.]

Listen online: At 8tracks
Download: Mediafire, 16 songs (83.23MB)
Please ask if you want any individual tracks!

Super secret geeky bonus note: "Full Fathom Five" will say it's from the Twelfth Night album, which is true as it's from the soundtrack from the Shakespeare in the Park production of said play.
Courses at Reims Academy

Official course description is in Times New Roman, while some more information about the course is given underneath that.

History of Science: Alchemy to Astronomy
HS 1-3

This non math intensive course covers the basic tenets of biology, chemistry, physics and astronomy while examining how scientific thought has evolved through time. Students will end up with a good grounding in each of the natural sciences.
Students who have taken advanced science classes will not receive credit for this course.

Implied in the course description and commonly known around school, this is a science course for non-science-y people. So if you need an extra science credit to graduate (I don't know if Reims has graduation requirements like that or not) or if you just think an extra science class will make you look better to that college you really want to get into...this is the class for you.

Campus Natural History
HS 2-3 (HS 1 by permission of instructor)

Get an introduction to biology and ecology by studying the land, plants, and animals of the school campus and the surrounding area. Almost all of the course will be spent doing fieldwork, so be prepared to walk around outside in all sorts of weather. Coursework is based mostly around a field journal and an independent project at the end of the course, though there will be several other projects along the way. No prior work in biology or natural history required.
Note: THIS IS A WORK-INTENSIVE COURSE. Even during class time students will have a lot of responsibility to work independently as we spread out over campus. Don't be constantly absent or late, and don't slack off.

HS1 students shouldn't be scared off - word around school is that Fang's pretty lenient about letting people in as long as they don't have a record of being a troublemaker. Word of mouth also says that final warning should definitely be heeded: while the course itself can be pretty easy going and fun (though yeah, a lot of work), Fang's failed a student on the spot before for his conduct during class.

But if you want a chance to wander around school taking notes and have a more hands-on experience instead of being stuck behind a desk and getting lectured at, this is a good course for you!

Vertebrate Zoology (with Lab)
HS 1-3

This course focuses on studying vertebrates - animals with backbones - including classification, evolution, basic anatomy, and adaptation. Lab work includes everything from dissections to field trips. Students will have one week where they must care for a pair of mice in order to record various observations, though already owned pets may be substituted with prior permission. Students will have some input on topics studied.
Prior work in biology or natural history is strongly encouraged but not required.

What you might think of as a more traditional science class, this is a lecture based course with a longer lab period once a week. Student input is considered, though there's a basic syllabus that Fang will stick to. Still, you want to spend some time on dinosaurs? Sure, the class can do dinosaurs. Just remember you're responsible on any tests for whatever you've picked! Also you fail if the mice die while under your care. (Exceptions only if it was completely out of your control, but that is not lightly given.)

If you have any questions, let me know! I'm happy to explain/expand, and I can whip up a sample syllabus if it'll help.

Like strength born of kindness, she isn't always easy to figure out. But she'll be there if you need her, with an easy smile and an iron will.

COMPUTER APTITUDE:
Not great, not bad. Fang doesn't spend more time on the computer than she has to, so while she's familiar enough with the programs she uses, she doesn't know and doesn't really care about anything beyond that.

AU HISTORY:
Born in a small, tight-knit town in Australia, Fang's childhood was, for the most part, a pretty idyllic, story-book type of life. She absorbed every story her parents and the other local adults told her, roamed the outdoors, wrestled with dogs, climbed (and occasionally fell) out of every nearby tree. Even when her parents died in a bushfire, Fang's life wasn't uprooted nearly as badly as it could've been - the town had its own orphanage, part of its ideal of taking care of its own, allowing her to remain around the people that she had known all her life.

Of course, the loss wasn't so easy for Fang to bear. Always high-spirited, some of her wilder tendencies started to get a little out of hand, leading her to sneak out of windows and generally cause trouble. It also created a distinct distance between her and the other children, at least until a girl named Vanille showed up. They quickly became fast friends, and Fang became more well behaved, both out of her desire to watch over Vanille and the younger girl's innate talent for balancing Fang out. (Though Fang's penchant for beating up bullies who made Vanille cry proved to any doubters that her wild side was definitely alive and kicking. And punching. And biting. And so forth.)

The close knit pair caught the eye of the town's wealthiest resident and local philanthropist. They might not have been loners or troublemakers, but they were (in some ways) the odd kids out, and the businessman thought it would benefit them to be in a different environment and to get a fresh start. After some initial resistance from Fang, he convinced them to try a boarding school on an entirely different continent.

Turned out the old man was right - Fang thrived at Reims, making friends easily, playing on several sports teams, and doing well in her classes. It ended with her graduating completely on time, senior project and all. She returned home briefly, and it was there and then that she got the tattoo on her arm, a design from the hometown that she was so proud of despite doing so well away from it.

In fact, she didn't stay long before returning to France and attending a college near Reims. Working with a single-minded purpose along with some careful planning and little sleep gave her a degree in only two years, with which she immediately turned around and applied for a teaching position at Reims. Though they were a little wary of her young age, Fang fought until she was hired, and she hasn't given them a reason to reconsider yet.

JUSTIFICATION:
It's true that Fang's not the strictest of teachers. Not really one to stand on formality, Fang's likely to let a certain amount of minor rule-breaking slide: for instance, she won't care much if a student swears in front of her, though she may remind them of the rule. But use an offensive word more along the lines of a slur and she will kick your ass (metaphorically, of course) six ways from Sunday. She won't make a big deal of things that are pretty harmless, but anything that could be even potentially dangerous or hurtful will have her stepping in immediately. She won't tolerate people slacking off or disrupting her class either. And once she takes a stand, she's nearly impossible to budge. Just because Fang is carefree doesn't mean that she's irresponsible - and she'll be very unhappy with you if you suggest that she is.

That's what Fang's like as a teacher, and honestly? Faculty is really the only position that makes sense for her - I don't want to rehash her personality section here, but the fact is that Fang's serious and responsible down to her core. In canon, her entire character is driven by her feelings of responsibility - to Vanille, to the other party members, to the world as a whole. Case in point: she's captured by people that she hates and considers her lifelong enemies, handcuffed and blindfolded, surrounded by men pointing guns at her...and then makes an alliance with them because they'll help her find Vanille. This isn't to say that a student can't be strong, serious, or responsible, but for Fang, everything that makes her a good teacher would make her a terrible student. Her personality, attitude, and outlook on life all make much more sense for a teacher.

SAMPLES
INTRANET/1ST PERSON SAMPLE
So it turns out that someone pranked my office last night. Now, I'm not saying I don't appreciate the effort, especially since I know the door was locked when I left, but don't you guys think you should put a little more thought into it? Letting a bunch of rats run loose isn't going to do much to scare a Natural History teacher. Better luck next time. Though since there are only so many pet stores around, it's going to be real easy to figure out who did this. So there'd better not be a next time, got it?

And hey, if anybody's been thinking about a pet for their dorm room, I've got some extra rats I'll give you - they're really a bunch of sweethearts. I'll help you get set up with the right cages and food and such. If you change your mind, give them back to me. These guys can't survive on their own outside.

LOG/3RD PERSON SAMPLE
Fang closed the door behind her with a sigh, dropping a folder almost carelessly on the nearby couch before stretching. She'd chosen to get an apartment in town to give herself a little more distance from the school - as fond as she was of it, she didn't want it to be her entire life. Especially not after years of attending it as a student.

So much for that plan, though, as she glanced wryly at the folder as she sat next to it to take off her shoes. Between hashing out plans for a field trip and tutoring a student she hadn't had time to finish grading tests. By the time she'd gotten around to them, there was no way she was going to stay in her office any longer. So here the tests were, home with her.

Food first though. Fang moved into the kitchen, turning on the lights and the radio. She was only half listening to the announcer's smooth chatter (these evening DJ's were always smooth, she thought with a grin), but that wasn't the point. If there was one thing she actively missed about staying on campus, it was how busy the place always was. The stillness of her apartment was almost unsettling after that, though hardly enough to drive her back to campus or into the faculty housing. Fang just let the music play as she looked around for something she could eat one-handed and not fall apart onto the test pages.

Not my idea of a dinner date. She laughed. If only she had known that this profession would dictate even her meals! Still, even as she threw together a sandwich (another grin and shake of the head - she'd been too busy even for groceries lately), she knew it wouldn't have changed anything. Vanille was still at the school and so she couldn't be anywhere else...but that wasn't all. There were plenty of other faculty members that she was friends with, several of whom had standing invitations to come visit her whenever. There were the students, though like any teacher she would've been fine with a few less headaches. But it was also just fun to watch them in class, to see that moment when they finally understood. It was one reason she loved her survey course, her "science for non-science people". Getting those kids to enjoy a class they might otherwise dread was one of the most satisfying feelings in her life.

And as she sat down on the couch, sandwich in one hand and red pen in the other, there were even tests to be graded. At least those from that survey course - when the biggest problem facing her was whether or not to give a student at least a little credit for this cartoon portrait of Newton rather than a real answer, well... Fang wasn't going to complain at all.

HAVE YOU READ THE FAQ? The rabid wombats made me.

Vanille - gloves lined with rabbit fur, hopefully time with Hecaton
Namine - a smaller version of one of the Oerba wall hangings
Heather - chocolate :| she got the lances earlier
Luxord - this book and an offer of a ride on Bahamut
Reno - Fang's "forgotten" to get him anything. You'll see.
Alan - a nice bag complete with soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor, and a ticket back home so that he can spend some time with his family (she thinks you are overdue)
Byakuya + Karin - She's setting you two up. No, really.
Kainé - a necklace made from one of the silver lobo claws. (A hole through both the top and bottom so that the claw sits horizontal rather than vertical.)
Halle - a big, oversized but very warm coat (IDK why it just seems right to me)
Aisling - necklace and bracelet

Plus all kids on Fang's floor will get chocolate.

Axel - gets a box with an athletic cup in it and a note that says "the only protection you need". Then a smaller note that says "look under the box. It's not gonna bite you." Which leads to a card with money in it and the third and last note: "Yeah, it's uncreative but what else would fit? It's cute that you're scared of me but I'm glad you're friends with Vanille."

Minako, the overachiever, has handmade all of her gifts - up to you whether you get assorted chocolate truffles or a knit stuffed animal or a scarf. Yes, she does all of these. Yes, she's impossible.
Except you, Axel: you're getting a stuffed bunny. Do not fight it.

Aoi doesn't get anyone anything (she may give things after the holiday if you give her something for whatever reason) except for giving Cosette a burglar alarm because she knows Cosette will pitch a fit if she doesn't give her anything.

Fang's Room (Shyvere 28)

a.k.a. tkino thinks too much about random details. Little paint layout and description behind the cut for convenience's sake.

Fang's suite isn't that much bigger than the student rooms, but she's put a lot of effort into decorating it. The first thing people see as they enter is the part that dominates the room: a couch and two armchairs set up in the middle with a rug woven from multicolored fabrics underfoot. The furniture isn't very fancy - built on simple lines - but it should (hopefully) feel inviting.

To the left as you enter is the tiny kitchen area: a small table that could comfortably sit two (or maybe three if you're friendly) people, and beyond it sink, stove, and fridge, with cabinets below. She doesn't even have counter space, alas. Tucked into a corner behind the couch is Fang's desk and chair, where she does a lot of her grading and other paperwork.

There are two windows looking out over the campus, but otherwise the walls are almost totally covered by cloth wall hangings: warm colors decorated with geometric designs. The only open spot is right next to the door out into the hallway, and there stands a rack for her lances: her regular one, a shorter lance with differently shaped blades, and a wooden practice one.

In the back of the room is a door leading to Fang's bedroom. The main room is designed to be as warm and welcoming as possible, but Fang's own room is more spartan; while not forbidding, it's certainly a more private space. Her bed is against the far wall, with a small nightstand and lamp next to it. On the floor is a small rug (not shown on the drawing), another small multicolored affair to keep feet from hitting cold wood first thing in the morning. On the opposite wall is the only wall hanging in her room, a deep purple with the patterns in silver. At the foot of her bed is her dresser, and on top of that is a small jewelry box and a framed photo of her and Vanille. (Sorry for the crummy quality, but it's tiny in-game and that's the best version I could find on the internet.) Tucked into the bottom left corner is a small picture of herself while reverted to being ten years old.

In that empty spot below her bedroom is a tiny bathroom - when making the diagram I didn't know if teachers got one with their suite, but it makes sense. It doesn't matter too much - it's just your basic tub/shower, toilet, sink, mirror, toothbrush... Nothing fancy, and Fang hasn't bothered changing/decorating it at all, but it's there if needed.

In general, Fang's place is pretty clean. She's not a neat freak by any means, and there are a lot more important things to her than dusting, but there won't be a lot of clutter or dirty dishes sitting around. She usually doesn't make her bed (if someone for some reason goes into her bedroom), but she does straighten the blanket out slightly, enough that she can just fall into bed when she gets back if need be. Her desk will probably have books/papers stacked on it in relatively neat piles, but not so cluttered as to make it hard to use. You wouldn't have to move anything to use it, but it might be a bit difficult for someone to find something specific without going through everything - Fang knows how it's "organized" but nothing's labeled.

Currently, the bottom drawer of the desk is locked, as it holds Heather's various guns. An extra key has been hidden behind one of the wall hangings, taped to a spot near the floor. Heather's been told where it is in case of emergency, and other characters should feel free to find it if they know to look for it.

Just as a note: the only reason that the bedroom wall hanging is the only one depicted on the diagram is because I wanted to be clear about the "opposite wall" it was on. Since the bed's in a corner, it could also be on the south wall (assuming north is up) but no, it's on the west wall. Originally I did put in the different colors of wall hanging, but then I started agonizing about what would go around the little kitchen table and I just needed to stop myself. Feel free to assume whatever colors you want, as there's a good mix of them - as long as they're deep/soothing, they're in.
♚ the basics
Name: Oerba Yun Fang
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Canon: Final Fantasy XIII
Class Taught: <s>Monster Slaying</s> Natural History

♛ in depth
Personality:

Canon Background: Find it at this wiki

AU Background:
Fang grew up in a small village called Oerba, located near Alexandria in Deningrad.

Appearance: Fang is tall, 5'9", has green eyes and dark brown hair that has red tips at the back. You can kind of see it here and that picture will describe her clothes much better than I ever could. She wears a small braid behind her left ear. She tends to wear a lot of jewelry, though the most noticeable part of her appearance are her two tattoos: the large black one on her left arm (seen in the picture) and the white one on her right arm.

♜ permissions
Injuring/Maiming: Sure, though if it's serious talk to me first.
Killing: Again, consult me first!
Hugging, Kissing, etc.: Heh, go for it. Fang can be physically affectionate and/or not have a full understand of/respect for personal boundaries. If she isn't in the mood, she will let you know.
Deaging, Genderswapping, etc.: Sure?
Mindreading: She doesn't have a shield, but I'd like to talk about it first anyway. The only thing I definitely won't allow is access to those memories she's forgotten.
