"Yes, Sir?"

"Explain this to me please."

"Not a clue, Sir."

"We were in the mess, having a reasonably decent meal. And we ended up...here. With no weapons."

"Yes, Sir."

Jack stepped off the platform and suddenly...

"Oh, hell no." Both Jacks spoke in unison. Sam sighed.

Black Ops Jack squinted. "What did you touch this time, Jack?"

Desert Jack glared. "Hey, we were having supper!"

Sam fought the urge to do a facepalm. "Okay, Sirs, let's figure this out."

Black Ops Jack snorted. "You mean YOU figure it out. We know we're just eye candy in these situations." He stepped down and...

Silence. Then Green Fatigues Jack sighed. "Hey, Sam. Hey, Me times two. What the fuck did you touch?"

Sam held up a hand to forestall an argument. "I think I figured it out, Sirs." She motioned. If you could just stand here...and you here...yeah, that'll work." She stood next to them.

"Now what?" hissed Desert Jack.

"Smile for the camera, everybody! It's Ren's birthday so she gets a lot of Jacks. Say...Stargate!"

Long time no post! But here is a birthday gift for my friend renwah. Enjoy!

A New Goa'uld?

"Daniel! Dammit, wait for us!" Jack scrambled along the uneven tunnel with Sam and Teal'c at his heels.

"Jack, this is amazing." Daniel didn't turn.

"Daniel, I don't care that the MALP said the place was deserted. It's still to be treated as an unknown, dangerous planet."

"Sorry, Jack. But look at this!"

"Why didn't they paint down to the ground?" asked Sam.

"They probably did, this is just land shifting, possibly earth tremors. But look how vibrant the colors are." Daniel's hand twitched as if he wanted to continue filming, but a glare from Jack stopped it.

"What does it say? asked Sam.

"There's a burial site ahead."

The four walked carefully but the emptiness spoke for itself.

They stared into the chamber.

"Strange..." Daniel stepped forward but Teal'c blocked him with his arm.

"What is strange DanielJackson?"

There's no ornaments, no furniture."

"But a big mummy case that might be a sarcophagus." Jack pointed his zat. "Carter, Teal'c, open it slowly."

"Teal'c! You okay, buddy?"

Teal'c stood. "I am well, O'Neill."

They stared in silence.

"That's a mummy, right? Not a Goa'uld?" Sam asked.

"Not a Goa'uld," agreed Daniel.

"All right kids, let's pack up and go home. Sometimes a mummy is just a mummy." Jack waved them back down the tunnel.

Note: While it really doesn't fit that well, I couldn't resist using one of the new minis I got--a crystal ball. I do have another new mini for Halloween but it decided to hide at the last minute so I guess it will wait for next year. :)

Yes, I know I haven't been posting every week. A lot of stuff is going on (good, not bad, but still time-consuming) and I've decided that I'm not going to be posting every week. Although I'll definitely post for Halloween! :)

Well, it's been a while but I have something new to show! Since House refuses to get one, Cameron finally went to the store and picked one up for herself. (Of course she knows he's going to borrow it!)

Note: It's getting hard to find the items I need, and hard to come up with ideas for things they might have. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Monday Minis: The Olympics (slightly naughty)

Cameron stood up from the couch and turned off the TV. "I love the Olympics."

House raised an eyebrow. "Is that why we've been watching for hours?"

Cameron laughed. "No, because you love them too. But now it's bedtime." She hauled him up and they bumped into each other in a slow, teasing way as they walked to the bedroom.

House stopped in the doorway. "What's on the bed?"

"Those?" Cameron's voice was a little too innocent and her eyes sparkled. "Those are gold and silver medals."

"And they're on our bed because...?"

"I thought we should get into the spirit of the thing and have our own Olympics. In bed." Casually, she stripped down to her skin and patted the bed invitingly.

House unzipped his jeans. "What's the silver medal for?"

"Well, House, I couldn't expect you to win gold in every category. That would put too much pressure on you, wouldn't it?" She winked.

"Let's see how well I score, Dr. Cameron. I hope you have appropriate flags to wave afterward."

"I intend on interviewing the winner on his technique," she said with a straight face.

Cameron walked into the living room wearing a bathrobe and towel drying her hair. "What's wrong, House?"

Did you wear my cap in that downpour?"

"Yep."

"Well, well, well, Dr. Cameron. You were able to wear my cap. You realize that means you have a big head, don't you?"

She grinned, completely comfortable. "I bundled up my hair. It filled the space." She winked at him as she dropped her robe and headed back to the bedroom. "You realize you just admitted that you have a big head, right?"

"What?"

Notes: No joke, we've been getting pounded by rain this weekend. And the humidity is through the roof!

Cameron smiled. "I really am."

"Fine. Paint. Just make sure you get all the sticky stuff off before coming to bed." He paused. "That didn't come out right."

"No, it didn't. But I'll get back to you later on that." Cameron winked and turned her attention to the supplies on the floor.

Note: The can of paint, roller, and paintbrush are all new. :)

"Hmm?" she added more newspapers on the floor.

"What are you doing?"

Cameron gave him an angelic smile. "Painting the trim. We discussed it, remember? I said I'd do it and you said fine."

House wracked his brain and came up with nothing. "When did this alleged conversation take place?"

"A week ago. Right after we--I mean, before we fell asleep."

"House stared into Cameron's unrepentant eyes. "You can't have discussions like that after my brain froze! That's taking advantage of me!"

"Uhuh." Cameron continued to lay more newspaper, a tiny smile curving her lips.

Note: Art imitates life, although I'm about to have more than trim painted! It starts this week so I might not be able to post next week.

Monday Minis: BBQ in the Wilsons' Backyard

House almost took a maniacal glee bothering Julie in her own backyard. Cameron shrugged at his antics.

"Can't you stop him?" pleaded Wilson. "She's going to give me hell, later."

"I don't know why anyone thinks I have that much power over House," Cameron replied.

"Can't you deny him sex?"

"What's that, Wilson?" House's voice snapped behind him.

"You could have warned me he was there," said Wilson.

Cameron laughed. "Why should he have all the fun?"

"You two really are suited to each other," was Wilson's parting shot as he walked away.

"Absolutely." Cameron smiled into House's eyes.

Notes: There's no room in this drabble so I'll just come right out and say that for those wondering, the beers are on ice in the picnic basket. :)

Monday Minis: New Digs (BTS Stuff--Part 2)

Usually I show the kitchen from a different side but this is now on the same shelf as the living room (for now) and I realize that I can always move the pieces around. While not a permanent space, putting House's apartment onto the closet shelves makes me feel more organized. Of course, I still need to empty at least one more shelf for the other rooms and that means figuring out what to do with the stuff already there! LOL

This is a temporary solution but one that will, I hope, make it easier to post the mini life that is House and Cameron. :)

Monday Minis: New Digs! (BTS stuff and a question)

Part of the problem with the minis is...there are a lot of them now and since I don't have a proper structure for them, they're scattered all over. So I end up needing to clear a space and then arrange them and hunt down the extra parts I want for the scene. But tonight I had an idea. I have shelves in a closet and removed everything off one to put the living room here. I'd like to see if I can clear off another shelf and do the same thing. We shall see. The living room isn't exactly the way it should be but I can see working with this.

I'd be interested in suggestions for a more permanent structure for House's apt. Another problem is that to make it exactly like his floor plan, the structure would be 4 ft x 2 ft! That's a huge piece.

The Start of the Weekend

House saw Cameron's bag and grinned. She beat him home because he lost the coin toss and had to pick up supper. But it was unlike her to just drop her bag there. "Cameron?"

"I'm in the bedroom!"

Better and better. "In a hurry for some fun?" He stopped in the doorway. "What's going on?"

She was half out of her work clothes. "It's the weekend and I'm taking advantage of every second." She wrapped herself in a robe. "That's the outfit I'm wearing tomorrow. The weather's supposed to be warm and sunny. Did you get supper?"

He bowed slightly. "Your chow mein awaits."

"Excellent." Cameron swanned past him. House gave one last look at the outfit on the bed before following.

Notes: Yes, that is a sundress with matching bag and the bag on the couch and all were made by athousandsmiles. I am in awe. One of the hardest things to do is find material where the design on it is to scale. Along with the fact that I can't sew, this is so cool.

House poked at the grass. "Not yet."

She zipped up her jacket. "She's got a normal backyard. Along with a normal kitchen and living room and bedroom."

"You didn't mention her bathroom." House continued poking.

"Fine! She has a normal bathroom as well. I'm going to sit in the car."

"Cameron."

She turned. House smiled and pointed at the gap by the fence. "Her neighbors aren't normal. She got sick from whatever they're doing in their backyard."

"There's no way to prove that," she said slowly.

"Sure there is. Need a boost?"

That's the conclusion, folks. :) The next minis will be back in 1:12 scale. See ya then! *waves*
