Amusing excerpts
The title has revealed itself to be "Half as Bad as You", which is a phrase I found while perusing the Nano forums for titles.
But here you are, proof that I've written things:
"Rene glared at the books on the shelf before her. Well, alternated between glaring hatefully, sniffing in distaste and outright hissing. She was desperately trying to avoid the hissing since it seemed to be attracting the attention of other people in hte bookstore. But it was really really hard. So difficult, in fact, that she hissed again for good measure, causing one mother to grab her young son by the arm and drag him away from he young adult section."
"Tomorrow she would start cleaning. In the back of her mind she reminded herself that this was the same promise she had made to herself yesterday and the day before that and so on ad infinitum and yet the very next day, it was a promise she broke. She expected she would never keep the promise tomorrow either."
"I need a Quest, Todd' Rene nodded in confidence, "It is a typical characteristic of the protagonist in a story that will eventually allow them to live happily ever after."
""Okay Rene, convince me." Todd had a look on his face that did not convince Rene that he really wanted to be convinced."
